AC. Can you upload his first goal against Tampa in game 1?
I only have the game in low quality... but if Gamecentre Live figures out why their stream of the game doesn't play, I may be able to capture and re-upload the goal in high quality.
I honestly don't think I've ever seen a goal like this by anyone else. Pure determination.

Hmm, I saw a goal like that....
Oh yeah, his last for the Flames.
What a bull.

Out of thanks but you rock! Keep the highlights coming!
My first flame game I was 5 years old and the flames were playing Boston. It was Iggy's second year on the team... Fleury and Kidd were really the only flames that I knew were big deals. The flames won 5-1..
Two years later me and my family were lucky enough to wait outside the flames locker room and get autographs from everybody except for Steve Smith (who claimed that he was the team doctor). They were playing Colorado that night, and the 4 autographs I remember the clearest were Theo Fleury (Got a picture with him too), Iggy, Kenny Wregget, and Peter Forsberg ( who just signed the back of my flames banner).
Not a crazy memory, but definitely a fact that Iggy has been here since the beginning of my cheering for this team. Pittsburgh and their fan-base have no idea how lucky they are. Go get your cup, Iggy.

I know Iggy didnt score this goal, but he created it. It is still my favorite Iggy moment I witnessed live in the dome. Thanks Jarome! You mean the world to this city.
I was gonna bring this one up too.. My family and I were 12 rows behind this goal. Definitely a day I'll never forget.. Got crazy goosebumps just watching that clip.
Some good videos on TSN that really put things into perspective.
The reactions from players all over the league was humbling to see. So many stars talking about Iginla with such respect and reverence... talking about what a great leader he is as well as a good person.
I really don't think it's overstating things to suggest he might be the most respected player in the league for so many different reasons.
We were so lucky to have him for so long.
Another great 8 minute video with Crosby taking about Iggy, just gushing. You can tell he's excited. Said he hadn't talked to Jarome yet but you can tell he's jacked up about hopefully getting to play with him again.
My parents recently moved across the street from Iggy's house. A few months ago my dad was outside doing yard work and Iggy was on the way to the park with his kids. He crossed the street to introduce himself and welcomed my dad to the neighborhood. My dads not a huge Flames fan but was very impressed that someone of his stature would go out of his way to welcome him to the neighborhood. I'm sure there are tons of stories like this but it just goes to show you what a great person Iggy is. He will be missed and I'll definitely be cheering for him to win the Cup!
PS. For those of you who have never shook his hand it is a very firm hand shake according to my dad. Haha

Been watching more coverage since getting home from work. Really starting to sink in now. This may be the only time a sports transaction has impacted me this much. Iginla is the best Flame of all time and I don't think we'll see another player with his combination of ability, class, integrity and longevity again. #12 is instantly retired in Calgary.

Still doesn't seem real.
Knew it had to happen but still didn't take the sting out of it when I saw the news. Thanks for everything Iggy! It was a pleasure to watch him all these years and to be able to say he was a Flame. Sad to think that it might be the last time we'll see a #12 Flames jersey on the ice.
I truly hope he gets his cup in Pittsburgh.
Can we get that short handed goal from game 5 vs San Jose.
Giving up a 2-0 series lead and playing the next day it was so nervous but the captain comes through and makes it all better, at that time I knew there was no looking back.
One thing I will say a lot of people didn't appreciate what we have, until today when he's gone.
My mom always told me this, appreciate what you have and don't take things for granted. We took him for granted, the abuse he took on here was deplorable at times.
