Kane and Sharp can play center, but the Hawks seem to want to avoid that, so moving their de facto second line center when they're already weak down the middle, compared to the other contenders, doesn't seem like a great hockey trade.
I could see Bolland becoming available in the off-season as he's a bit expensive for what should be a third line center, especially with how he is playing this year, but unless the Hawks grab a second line center in another trade, I don't see them moving him this season.
I could maybe see a Grabovski-Boland trade. Grabovski has shown more of an offensive flair, he might still not be an ideal number 2 center but he fits the role better than Boland. Leafs grab some cap relief to re-sign Bozak without having there third line center making 5.5M.

Yes, he'll be on that show with the other hack-celebrity divers, if it hasn't been cancelled yet. Goodness, I hope he doesn't end up in CGY .

I like this game -
Iggy is gone, here's what I think might be next... Or rather, what I think should be next...
Bouwmeester to Ottawa for Bishop and a 1st or 2nd
Kipper to Toronto for D prospect Matt Finn
Stempniak to Nashville for 2nd and a 4th
Sarich to LA for a 6th

After Murray got 2 2nds, you think Stempniak is worth a 2nd and a 4th?

He thinks he's being funny. Has posted the same sarcastic and snide notion of trading everyone in several threads now.
As original as it is productive.

I have a really bad feeling Feaster won't be able to get any trades done before the deadline and what you see on the ice is what we will end the season with..

Bouwmeester and MacDonald to Detroit for a 1st, 4th and a prospect
Comeau and Babchuk to Carolina for a 4th
Begin to Montreal for a 5th
All i see is dumps, I don't see any player for player trades that don't include prospects. At least I hope there isn't.

With Ottawa being rumoured to be interested in some of Calgary's players, and if I'm Jay Feaster I'd be looking at these prospects... right shooting C/W Mika Zibanejad and RW'ers Jakob Silfverberg, Stefan Noesen and Mark Stone (all of 'em are projected scorers with good size)

Zibanejad and Silfverberg are untouchable.
I would really like Noesen, though.

Guesses by me -> no teams, just expected players that are traded and what I think the return will be.
High Possibility:
Bouwmeester - 1st rounder, 3rd rounder, near blue chip prospect
Kiprusoff - 2nd rounder, conditional 2nd if plays next year
Sarich - 4th rounder
I could also see Stempniak, Tanguay, and Comeau in play as well. Tanguay has a modified NTC so could be traded.

I freakin' hope we don't trade Reinhart. He's developing into a solid 3rd line centre.

I think we should try to trade for 2014 first round picks , we just have to determine the biggest pretenders this year , teams like Montreal and Toronto with their deluded media and fans I think would be ripe for the picking .....
