I'm currently in my prime, so I'll have ~2-3 during the week and then if I go out on the weekend I'll probably have 8-12

I love beer!!! I have at least one a day, rarely 2 or more unless I am hanging out with friends. On game nights I will have 2 here at home. I don't drink at the Dome very often because it's just too expensive.
I workout, I play hockey, I eat healthy, I drink beer!

Obviously the OP's wife needs to drink more. Not you less. My wife is usually matching me drink for drink at home. Not so much when we go out, but I still love her.

I usually go out once a week during the week and have 2 or 3 beer. And then again on the weekend for 2 or 3 beer so at most 6 beer a week.
I only get drunk a few times a year now. Christmas parties so usually 2 or 3 times in december and usually sometime during stampede. Other than just a few beer per sitting.

I drink about the same amount as you but some nights I substitute red wine, a rum, or a scotch instead of a beer.
My wife is always on my case about it too. I think its because she equates alcohol with the binge drinking days of her youth, where I see it as just having a drink.

Two people got let go yesterday at work, it sucked. After the kids were in bed I had 4 500ml cans of Pilsner Urquell, played some video games had a nice sleep and woke up feeling refreshed.

Typically a light beer after a hockey game (1-2 times per week), and occassionaly a beer with dinner (usually light beer) but more likely to have a glass of wine.
I have always been under the impression that one alcoholic serving per day was healthy for you.

I can't drink beer when I eat. It totally kills my appetite. I can drink before and I can drink after, but not during.

I don't know how Chirs Rock would feel about this but maybe something in this fashion:
"Your woman don't like you drinking beer because you're doing what you like to do and when you're doing that, it stops you from doing what she wants you to do.
Like taking out the trash, picking up the kids, talking cohesively, proofing to her parents she married the right man"
PS...i just wrote this in his voice.
PPS..I would pay through the roof to see this guy do standup

"Your woman ragging on you for the amount of beer you drink? That ain't right!" Read in Chris Rock's voice...

Usually one after work or with dinner on weeknights-- same goes for Friday night because of Saturday work. I'll either have a few more on Saturday night or have a few more on a Sunday during NFL season and watch the games. If I'm at a Flames game, then I'll have 3-4 at the Dome.
