With the rested bullpen I'm not sure why Drabek went out / stayed out in the 6th for so long. Keep the Angles at 3 after 6 innings and its a different game. I know you're trying to show confidence in a pitcher, but the bullpen is practically fully rested!
It's easy to coach in hindsight.

So help me lord if Johnson is not injured and we are forced to watch Vizquel come up as the tying run in the 9th in his spot
Edit: Not looking like it's going to happen

Jays 6-2 in the last 8. Hutchinson goes tomorrow then it's a day off

Like the Jays tomorrow to bounce back. Jays +121 tomorrow and odds dropping.

Omar Vizquel pretty much makes this Jays lineup a National League one

Even if it is the Angels, I'm very impressed by someone as young as Hutchinson and how he's pitched so far in the Majors.

All that being said, I don't expect a complete game shutout. So we best be putting some runs on the board.

If Hutchison can continue to even be remotely decent as the #5, we'll be in a pretty good position.

Always nervous when Hutchinson has to go through the lineup for a 2nd time.

Pujols slump is just scary when he's showing no signs of getting out of it. He's still earned the benefit of the doubt he'll snap out of it, but the Angels could be handicapped if he never does.

Bad luck for Hutchinson there, ball takes a bad bounce and instead of a double play it's a single

First homer for Pujols. Glad the Jays are done with the Angels today, could awake him. Was bound to happen sooner or later, and makes sense it would happen against Hutchinson. His next start is against the Yankees and I really think the Jays need to think if it's gonna be worth it sending him out aainst that lineup

No idea why you don't pinch hit Escobar for Vizquel in that situation. Well now the real tests can begin starting with a really hot Oakland team

AL EAST standings
Baltimore
Tampa Bay
Toronto
New York
Boston
One thing remains constant, even with the AL EAST standing all in reverse this early in the season...best third place team in the AL EAST confirmed, thanks for the Extra Wild Card (we'll make the one game Wild Card battle if the playoffs started today.)

Any AL East Team, would make the playoffs playing in any other division in baseball.
