turnover and penalty is the difference in this game so far. A fumble by Drew Tate which the Eskimos scored a TD (7 points), then that stupid penalty on the punter that gave Edmonton another chance ended up another TD (7 points). That's 14 points for both mistakes. Without those Eskimos should have been ahead by 2 points only.
Defense started off well pressuring Ricky Ray and Calgary ended up getting 3 QB sacks. Then they backed off and the bad tackling showed up. We still have another half a game to go so I am not worried. This is CFL and a 28 points lead after the first half is still not safe.

Not really a wasted season. We have had incredible turnover on this roster in the last few weeks. Its pretty difficult to win playoff games under those circumstances.
Not only that, but this game isnt even over yet.

By no means is it over. But that last TD was huge. Lewis is hurt, and Tate can't have very much confidence. If he starts taking chances, which he shouldn't have to for at least a quarter, then the Stamps could be in trouble. If they have a decent mistake free 3rd quarter and get a bit closer score wise, they will be fine. This is the CFL and that lead isn't the issue...the mometum the Edmonton could be the issue, through if the Stamps don't get that mometum back soon.
