Even though she's not as bad as many of the terrible, terrible actors and actresses gracing our silver screens today, Natalie Portman is the one I dislike. So overrated it's not even funny. Once she grew up, she become totally self-conscious.
Thank you! I don't think she's atrocious, but I just don't get it either.
I have a hard time getting past her in the Star Wars prequels.
"Anakin, you're breaking my heart!" with whiny sad face on. Hated it. I always see that part of the movie whenever she is on the screen in any other movie.

Some of the quiet scenes in V for Vendetta are my Portman nightmares. The accent makes things worse. I just think she's self-conscicous, like she's not really a natural actress. She was fine as a child actress in a couple of films but then kind of lost her naturalness.
Still, no one would look good acting against Hayden Christensen, one of the most unfortunate casting choices in film history. In a sense we're lucky that the films are so bad, because there was less for that baffling anti-actor to ruin. Padme and Anakin make the Twilight couple look like the love story of the century.

To be fair to her everyone was pretty awful in those three prequels, especially Hayden Christensen: "I hate sand, it's coarse and it gets everywhere..."

"I killed them. I killed them all. They're dead, every single one of them. And not just the men, but the women and the children, too. They're like animals, and I slaughtered them like animals. I HATE THEM!"

The best thing about that scene is Padme's (lack of) reaction. The only explanation for it is that they're both terribly racist. Padme agrees that they are like animals.
Also another instance where some acting might have been called for, Natalie.
Heh, count me as another that doesn't see a lot in Natalie Portman, I just didn't want to say anything because she is very popular and I didn't want to seem like someone who just chooses to hate whatever is popular. She must have a lot of friends in Hollywood to keep getting top notch roles like she is. She is a very mediocre actress in my opinion. I watched Black Swan and thought Mila Kunis was way better. There are a lot of actresses who seem to get by on their looks.

The direction and writing for all the Star Wars movies (especially the three new ones) is terrible.
Portman slays in Black Swan. To me the new Star Wars movies are absolutely horrible.

Never said Hayden wasn't his own brand of crap in that one, I should have though, cause he sucked. But Portman managed to stand out too in that regard.
I have Black Swan, I bought it because everyone kept saying it was amazing. I can't bring myself to actually watch it though. She bugs me and I think Kunis, while very pretty, sucks too.

Empire Strikes Back, which I believe had the least amount of Lucas, sort of fooled people into thinking that the films have more substance they actually do and that continues to this day. But they're really fun to talk about and laugh at.
I watched the infamous christmas special this summer. I expected it to be psychedelic and incredibly bad, of course, but what I wasn't prepared for was just how disgusting it was. That's the best word I can think of - Chewie's disgusting family. Star Wars always brings out the racist in me.
Apparently, somebody crunched the numbers in the Rotten Tomatoes database and determined that Chuck Norris and Jennifer Love Hewitt are the worst actor and actress of all times.

Do I have to pull out the closer card here?

How can we have gone through 8 pages and only have Megan Fox brought up as a bad actress once? I can't think of a single GOOD movie she's been in and between her and Labeouf, managed to drag down the first Transformers movie.
