They mentioned the ice was too heavy and thick and they feared the Zamboni would crack.

Anyone happen to know if CBC (or anyone else) is showing a replay of the game, either on TV or online? I was out of town and not able to see it, and my PVR let me down and didn't record the game

Very weird that the team of Hughson/Simpson/Healy did the HD feed, and Mark Lee/Weeks/PJ stock were on the 3D broadcast.

Yelled at Gionta "No beef jerkey for you" after the game, he looked up at me with a sad face.

liked bettman's take on the ice. the unpredictability of the environment adds to the intrigue of the outdoor games. People need to stop complaining, and give the ice crew some credit.

kudos to the crowd who was there. It looked damn cold from the confines of my basement and the crowd was in it the entire time. Well done.

What a day!! So cool to see the Snowbirds fly across overhead. Atmosphere was awesome, the game was great, and overall an awesome experience.
Funniest moment was seeing a girl walk up in her skinny jeans and high heels only to leave about 10 minutes later after huddling under her blanket. Didn't see those two come back haha. What are you thinking??

What a fun and exciting game. It was a great experience! Best of all we get 2 important points. As soon as we lost the sun it got cold! I'm glad this sport is usually played indoors.

Is it possible to download the Flames picture on NHL.com right now? The one with all of their sticks raised is a great shot... I'd love to get a poster of it.
