The Good Place continues to be the best thing on TV.
Saw the last episode was titled "Jeremy Bearimy" and thought "What new character could that be?" The answer was so out of left field (as is to be expected for The Good Place) that I totally lost it.
Did you guys know that Syfy commissioned a pilot for a Tremors TV show staring Kevin Bacon, and then cancelled it? The trailer in its cheesy glory looks ####ing perfect and I'm disappointed this isn't going to be a thing.
Did anyone else watch the premier of Lodge 49 after Better Call Saul?
I think it was a bit oversold as being Big Lebowski on TV. I'll give another episode a chance, but I didn't see anything profoundly excellent in the first episode. No laughs, no compelling story, or stand out actors...
I similarly just watched the first episode, having waited until the season was done. Any overall impressions? Does it improve from a so-so pilot ep?
Anyone watching In the long run on CBC?
I love this show! set in London in the 80's.

I just watched the first episode of HBO’s new show “My Brilliant Friend”. It’s very powerful with great performances, especially from the two lead girls.
Running through Parks and Rec for the first time on Amazon Prime, and damn what an awesome show. Not sure how I didn't get into it sooner, Ron and Andy continually make me laugh my ass off, and there's a lot of heart to it as well. Only about halfway through, which I'm thankful for as there's a lot more left to watch

Anyone watching Escape at Dannemora? It's based on true event based on the 2015 Clinton Correctional Facility escape. Pretty good cast including Benicio del Toro. I'm really enjoying it as it's kind of crazy two guys could pull that off in this day and age.
I was watching You're the Worst. A sociopath and bipolar person decide to date each other, knowing full well it's going to end horribly but they do it anyways. It's actually pretty funny. Good performance by the lead actress. But S4 got pretty dumb and I'm glad I stopped watching it.
If you're a fan of Anthony Anderson, Black-ish is decent if you want a simple mindless fun show. Just a couple episodes in, but it's not bad. No laugh track which is nice.

One of my favourite all time shows. Do yourself a favour though and skip the last season. Stop after season 6.

Black-ish was good for a season or so. Then it becomes an unfunny social commentary show. Its almost 2 different shows in that case.

I'm only about 8 episodes in, and I already feel that way. Truthfully it's not even that funny overall, but I'm a big AA fan. Fishburn is funny as well.
Anybody watch Patriot on Amazon? Man I love that show so much, I can't believe how little press or recognition it gets. If you haven't seen it may take a bit to catch the tone, it's a bit weird, but once you do it is super funny.
