Ya its too bad there won't be any CJ or Vercetti cameos, though they'd both be too old (Vercetti anyway) by now I'm sure.
As for the voice talent, from what I've heard Houser meant only the main cast wouldn't be celebrities, just so you see them as their own person. Doesn't mean there won't be a few cameos in bit roles..
e.g. I heard Aziz Ansari may be the DJ for one of the hip hop stations
I will have to wait for it to be released on PC. Is there a chance that they release it on consoles and PC simultaneously?
Probably 0.

Since GTA is done by Rockstar North however, they'll say "screw you PC" for about 6-9 months then paw it off to Rockstar Toronto or Leeds and make them create a half-assed port.
the first two GTA games were PC only. lots of fond memories of GTA 2
I remember the demo of the first GTA. If I recall correctly they limited you to three minutes of game play.that was more then enough time to rain destruction down from the heavens.
Then when GTA came out on the console.. I was like.. Whoa! Upgrade!

GTA 3 was a revolutionary leap forward, I loved the fact that the protagonist never ever spoke a word through the whole game, it made the payoff at the end so much better.
I also really liked the fact that he came back in San Andreas and steals your girlfriend.

I just wanted to drive around listening to the talk radio. To hell with the missions.

R* released 3 new trailers (1 for each character) today. All 3 look pretty sweet, but Trevor looks like he's going to be the funnest to use. What a psycho.
And since Franklin seemed to get the least attention from IGN after the release today, I feel the need to point out how excited I was seeing all the green clothing his buddies were wearing in his trailer. Grove Street baby!

In GTA 3 the greatest pleasure once you got the Sniper rifle was to sit up on the roof and then blow someones leg off to see then hop up and down screaming before you gave then the merciful end.
In San Andreas the greatest thing was the tank trap. Find a way to get on a roof and kill everything until the National Guard sends a tank out. For some reason the tank always parks right next to the building, you jump down, jump into the tank and kill everything.

In Liberty City the most fun I have is getting a fire truck, and either go driving down the big 6 lane streets running stuff over or going the wrong way on freeways.
