Weird that the Stampede had said "more to come" in regards to their Stampede Series at the Saddledome. The whole "series" ended up being Blake Shelton.

Man was it busy this morning. Went before 11 for the free admission (we have four kids) and it was shoulder to shoulder.

Must've been an attendance record. I've never seen it that busy

That's great to hear. Hopefully this is an upswing for the Stampede and other public gatherings that have been decimated by Covid.

Wouldn't be surprised if there's new attendance records this year, haven't gone to the grounds yet but downtown has been absolutely insane so far

Sunday was the least enjoyable stampede day I have ever experienced. 45 minute waits for anything, shoulder to shoulder movement on the grounds, absolute insanity. They need capacity limits that was ridiculous

Are there any listed attendance figures yet?

I'm not a 'Stampede Person' personally, I'm born and raised here and done more than enough Stampeding for a lifetime, I limit my interaction to a few parties and breakfasts at most and cant even remember the last time I set foot on the grounds.

But....I'm also not 'Anti-Stampede' either. Go and make that money!

Good for them.

If anyone doesn't like it, maybe resurrect the old one and call it the Coke Classic Stage.

I find since it's now on the parking lot, that the crowd capacity is bigger than the previous one.

I really wish though that they put in a beer gardens in there, or at least had one within view of the stage like the previous location. I wonder why they don't, since that seems like a great money maker.

That's unfortunate. I want to go see some bands, but I've come down with a nasty cold and don't think I could stand for a whole show.

Yeah, that's what I thought but I've done three Covid tests and they were all negative. I'm staying away from people. If I could sit somewhere in the back at the Coke Stage I don't think I'd infect anyone, but I'll just be staying home.

But I get told every year that they live to buck. Yeah, I like to play video games, but if you're going to force me to do it, and smack me in the head if I don't then that's not cool.

The rodeo is barbaric. If that was a dog people would be screaming in rage.

Nobody is forcing you to watch it. I suggest you don't.

That stuff happens 1 in 100 outs.

People who like the rodeo, don't give a flying f that other people think it's barbaric, inhumane or otherwise.

I don't watch it.

Of course those people don't care. That would require empathy.
