Well, she just defeated the #46 ranked player in the world and had her chances last night against the #25 ranked player. She's going to try to qualify for the Aussie Open and based on her play last night, I think she's got a great chance. I know we've been down this road before, but I like what I saw last night.

Stephens has had a horrible last 6 months. She 6-10.
One is ranked 25th and the other 211th. Bouchard had a horrible 12 months. She was 0-13 last year. That is actually quite hard to do!

At the Paris Masters three months ago, he had a very competitive match against Djoker (lost 7-6 6-4). Only 20 years old, definitely someone to keep an eye on in 2020.

If it comes down to the doubles decider, you have to think Kyrgios and Nadal will be on opposite sides of the net.
Ben Rothenberg is suggesting Australia could ask De Minaur to sit out leaving Millman vs RBA and Kyrgios vs Rafa. The reasoning is Kyrgios is 2-1 vs Nadal on hard courts while Demon is 0-2.

If that occurs I wonder how Rafa will respond. He is already in a bad mood blaming the scheduling having Spain travel from Perth to Sydney. I get what he is saying, it is a 3 hour time change and something could be done to mitigate the impact, but it is short tournament you just have to deal with it.

Sinner lost early this week but JJ Wolf is into the New Caledonia final. He's crushing journeymen.

Medvedev - Djoker coming up shortly - If the Serb fans are anything tonight like they were last night, we could see some fireworks from the Russian.

So I’ve had a couple drinks....you really wanna spit on him? This is the Tennis thread. Not the GT Flames. Calm down.

Gets broken for the 1st time in the 2nd set. Smashes his racquet. Pouts back to his box and says " i'm effing done. I'm done"

Sure spit sounds good at 2am.
Now he's arguing with the umpire.
