They gotta get Drury off this team.

I think they'll give Drury more time than a week and a half.

This time last season most of us were ready to catapult Grichuk into the sun as well.

I don't care. I would catapult Drury into the sun if I could.

It sounds like Drury takes care of Brito pretty well and he seems like a nice guy, but boy does he ever suck at baseball. Guy is
about as clueless as it gets at the plate.

It’s so painful to watch. It’s like spring training ball all year.

If I am the Jays I am asking the ump to watch Clevenger's windup, he isn't coming to a set position before throwing. Might be able throw off his rhythm.

Galvis keeps raising his trade value. Hopefully we can get a solid pitching prospect for him at the deadline.

This team needs to figure out how to lay off the high fastball and make the pitchers come down into the strike zone, right now there is no reason for the pitcher to stop throwing the high fastball because the Jays hitters keep chasing it.

Considering the whole team is just fastball hitters and they are only getting high fastballs they need to figure out before the offense comes around.

This team is pretty much unwatchable at this point. Which is too bad because the pitching has been great. I wouldn’t be surprised if they lose 110 games when all is said and done.

Just watched the jays strike out in order in the 6th, 14 of 18 batters down on strikes already.

I’m don’t say this lightly but I think the jays might be even more no good then the oilers. What’s the over under for wins this season, 40?

Why is Urena hitting 8th if he's batting .400?

When Vladdy is healthy, do they have to wait another two weeks to bring him up or can they do it right away?

Seems to me i heard april 26th, though that may be wrong.

Not sure you want to bring him into THIS clubhouse anyways right now...nothing but bad baseball going on with the club, and injecting young guys into that culture can be long term bad at times.

Hopefully they get out of it at least a bit, because this is unwatchable and unpleasant baseball for everyone from management to players to fans.

The pitching and the defense is solid. They can't hit. They have a prospect who's apparently a generational hitter. Tough as it may be to watch right now, how cancerous can a clubhouse be after three series?

Vlad needs to be on the big club asap and he needs a big league nutritionist to get him to a reasonable playing weight. He's going to Prince Fielder himself if he keeps swelling.

They are watching fastballs go by down the middle and swinging at fastballs out of the strike zone. They just don't have an idea at the plate.

I think they need to go back to basics, go up looking fastball, and don't move off that till you get to 2 strikes. Stop with the long swings and be quick to the ball.

I have to agree with Buck and Pat, that the Jays just need to put the ball in play and that strike outs are useless. One thing that seems weird to me about analytics is that it's ok to strikeout, but it's not ok to give up outs via bunts or trying to steal bases. Seems to contradict itself.

My thinking is that around 65-75% of the time an AB leads to an out, may as well make that out productive, move a runner, make the defense make a play. Also the best catchers throw out around 30% of the runners, so why not play the odds when the right situation presents itself and try to get a runner in scoring position.

It's not like the offense is doing anything right now may as well find ways to manufacture runs.
