Warriors win game 3 in OT and now have a 3-0 series lead.

It's kind of crazy how often these finals series end up being very lopsided despite both teams being stacked powerhouses.

Warriors comlete the sweep.

Denton Mateychuk finishes the WHL playoffs with 1.5 points per game to lead all Dmen by almost double the points. Absolute beast mode. He and Firkus would not be denied.

Hopefully they have a strong showing in the memorial cup.

I honestly never thought I'd see the day the Warriors would hoist that trophy, and to sweep it at home is just the icing on the cake. Had some great teams through the years but always a missing piece or just hit a wall. I watched Vancouver win it here when we last made the finals, that team was gassed and beat up, this year we had no playoff injuries and a team that 100% plays for each other, leaving everything on the ice. I still haven't recovered from this run, I can't imagine how tired they are! All thing considered I think they have a great shot at making the final in the Mem cup, it will be interesting to see how the four teams match up against each other.

The party went long into the night, the boys brought the trophy and made an appearance, it was just an incredible night. MJ will remember this one forever!

I hope they can get a Memorial Cup. I think the last time a WHL team won was the Oil Kings, I don’t know, about six or seven years ago.

Anybody coming down to Lethbridge to watch the Hitmen play down here?

Don't be intimidated by our Arena's new name!

"VisitLethbridge.com Arena"

I mean, don't be too embarrassed to step foot into that arena. The residents of Lethbridge are embarrassed enough.

This news came out about a week ago, but Medicine Hat has made clear its intention to bid for the 2026 Memorial Cup.

I think Med Hat has a solid chance here. Can't hurt they are looking like a powerhouse for the next two seasons and will also have the current concensus 2026 1st overall playing for them.

Up against Spokane, Brandon, Lethbridge and Kelowna.

The alternative could have been the Lethbridge Lodging Association. Somehow that's still better than their cooperate name.

With Gavin McKenna going into his draft year it should be a no brainer.

I know someone who has lived in Lethbridge his whole life, i asked him how things were going down there and he said "you mean Methbridge"? I have been there many times but it sounds sketchy. likely not part of the visit lethbridge.com site.

Since the news came out about Medicine Hat putting a bid for the Memorial Cup at the end of July, they acquired Ryder Ritchie. He apparently hated PA. Didn't like the way things were going. Asked for a trade twice last season. MH tried to trade for him at the deadline last year. Really good friends with McKenna too.

Two drafted Finnish blueliners signed today after being taken in the Import Draft. 12 players going to NHL camps. 6 drafted and 6 invites.

This team is shaping up to be one of the best in recent memory.

Yeah 6 drafted players plus McKenna who is projected to go 1st overall in 2026 and led the team in scoring as a 16 year old. They also have three overage forwards who are all projected to be point per game.

The D was a question mark but as you said they just helped their cause by getting two Finnish Dmen that were just drafted in the 3rd and 5th rounds.

Gotta think they are the favorites to get the memorial cup in 2026.
