Love what Marchand did tonight, if this happened to the Flames and no one went after Eller, I would be highly disappointed in the team. I normally will never say this, but kudos to Marchand. Great shots.

People acting like Marchand has the right to tell anyone what is "the right way to play" is laughable.
Next time Marchand does one of his cheapshots I hope he gets jumped and pummelled.

Nobody talked about the Ducks-Sharks game? LOL, it was on at the same time as the Flames-Canucks game. It came down to goaltending and the Ducks had the superior goalie in this game. The Sharks out shot the Ducks every period (15-4 in the 2nd period) and it was 33-15 at the end of the game. Getzlaf with 2 assists, Henrique with 2 points, and Comtois scored 49 seconds into the game. The Ducks won 5-2. The only bright spot for San Jose was Hertl's SHG.
Maybe Rask shouldn't be playing the Capitals. This isn't hindsight as Rask is now 1-11-5 against the Caps. He was pulled after 5 goals. Holtby should be playing the Bruins as he is now 15-2-0 and gets the 25 save SHUTOUT. Backstrom with 3 assists and OV with 2 goals. The Caps beat the Bruins for the 13th straight time!

For as good as Mathews and Tavares were on their shots that beat him, Price was the star of that game. He made a few brilliant saves. He is so athletic.

Marchand will probably get a game or two for that - not undeservedly - but honestly, if you're going to taunt the opposition bench on a 7-0 goal, you deserve a few punches to the head.

He's always a tough guy when he goes after non fighters. Tom Wilson will take 20 more for his team when he pounds the #### out of rat face in December.

I am convinced people are brainwashed about this idea the media is biased for the Leafs they don't listen .Hughson and Simpson are certainly no Leaf fans (Fans of Vancouver and Edmonton), and they were complimenting the Habs all night. Domi was stated as being the best forward, Price was amazing, the Habs were working so hard...

No one on CBC, TSN or SN has picked the Leafs to win the cup or any award FYI. This is a myth.
SN had 16 analysts pick the winners: 0 Leaf picks. A team that missed the playoffs last year (Blues) got a vote (Kypreos).
Where is this idea coming from?
