You dont need to have a direct call for violence to incite something. When your whole campaign is "dont vote for the other guy or its the end of the world/collapse of civilization/beginning of WW3" and so on. And I mean look how many people parrot that in this thread even? So is anyone shocked someone could feel theyd need to do something like this if thats what theyre being told?

I mean lets be honest, its likely to be another 4 years of incompetence and scandals followed by hopefully the Dems getting someone who can string a full sentence together without a prompter to clean up afterwards.

Great post man. Honestly the hatred in this thread is really eye opening and I didn't realize it spilled over to us Canadians.

How does this change the polls? IMO, Trump was bound to win anyway. He has a cult following that will actively vote for him and not leave it to chance. Biden has shown to be declining in mental state for awhile. So I get that the picture is great and all but he was bound to win when his fanbase is so active against what turns out to be a declining man. Getting shot, IMO, does nothing to sway anyone either way. I don't know American (or Canadian politics for that matter), but how isn't Biden standing down at this point? Very much like Trudeau, are these guys delusional they'll win? Are people around them in any way having these truthful discussions with them? Can their next in line be put in place in a short period? Surely Harris and Freeland aren't the best there are out there right?
