The hand is important, but also the game we're equipped to play. I feel like one guy here is playing Go Fish.

I hate WhatsApp

I hate that when you join groups you can't "back date" and see what was going on in the group.

My club uses it for coaches and communication.

Would be nice to see a historical of previous communications.

South Street Burger had surprisingly great fries.* I know they were an offshoot of New York Fries and then spun off after Recipe Unlimited gobbled them up. Not sure who owns South Street now, but they upped their french fry game.

*The author of this scientific study is willing to concede this is all nonsense predicated on the possibility they were just really hungry at the time of data gathering.

I believe this is part of the encryption and security. I understand the frustration, but it's probably better the way it is.

Yeah I mean deep down I know this, it just ####s me off.

Better for security

no better for communication.

I want to know more about “chef cooking” and “chef roasted chicken”, and why in quotes? It’s like bad menu writing. “chef sliced roast beef”.

It’s very marketty sounding, like when some fast food chain tries to make their new menu item sound gourmet by emphasizing the relatively insignificant bit of human involvement that takes place. “Try our hand-scooped ice cream milkshakes!” or “Tim’s new hand-stirred soups”.

It's our 'go to' communication app in our household. Not sure if there is a better alternative out there?

Signal. Can’t say if it has that particular feature but doesn’t mine and steal your data. So that’s a win.

Agreed!

'Grew up with a classic immigrant story'
'Where did you immigrate from?'
'Born in Canada '

That is just a hilarious back and forth, especially framed within the context of a conversation about Swiss frickin Chalet

If you're ever in Montreal go visit Chalet Bar-BQ. It's like Swiss Chalet but with everything made properly.

Or like St. Hubert, but with everything made properly.
