Yes, it's getting pretty boring. I used to play quite a lot but this weekend I maybe put in 1-2 hours at the most. Hunting for items gets boring after a while especially when you're constantly running things and getting garbage.

So for those saying it is boring. Did you play D2 for years?
I understand the mechanics are different and there are issues to fix but in the end underneath it all it is the same end game. Grinding to find items.
D2 was exactly the same. Grinding the same game over and over and over yet people played it for years and years.

Two big reasons I've given up on Diablo 3 given I played D2 for far too long in the past:
1) item drops. I have equipped on my main barbarian exactly one item I looted myself. There is no sense of reward farming gold just to buy items you need off the AH. And if you buy off the real money AH... you lose any and all purpose for playing the game at all.
2) characters cap out at 60 and you can re-spec any time you want without cost. This means you get almost nothing out of replaying the game - there are achievements for finishing the game with 2 of the same class.. WHY WOULD YOU EVER DO THAT?
Diablo 3 is a great game - but it fails spectacularly at remaining compelling after the 80 hour playtime mark.

1. You don't have to buy anything from AH. It's just easier. I have several friends who only use things that they are other friends found and have been able to get to Act 2 Inferno. They would probably be past it if they pushed but then started others toons to play as well.
2. So you would prefer going to lvl 99? Probably just left room for expansions like in Wow. As for being able to respec. The same went for D2 except there was a cost which wasn't that much. Yeah achievement for doing 2 of the same class is weird.

This sums it up for me:
http://www.alexc.me/a-scientific-exp...-diablo-2/417/
In D2, a player would feel accomplishment when they receive loot. In D3, the system is so flooded with useless items that loot no longer feels like a reward.

Reason #1 here is my greatest gripe. I played Diablo 2 for hours in the hope that I may get something cool. Now I can do Butcher runs and get absolutely nothing and end up spending most of my time trying to sell unidentified items in trade. Not only that but in order for me to upgrade it seems I need to collect 10 million gold to get something. It's just not fun. To each their own I suppose...

Is this worth anything? I don't know much about DH stuff, and don't really have a feel for the Legendary market... I see some listed for millions, do people actually pay that? Seems a little out of whack to me.
If I stumble upon another Legendary, am I better off leaving it unidentified?

at 13% AS, it isn't super valuable, bu the MF, dex/vit and hatred are all good, although rolls are somewhat average. That considered, I wouldn't expect more than about 500k for it, depnding on the demand for Cluster Arrow cost reduction
Cluster Arrow is a skill that is being used a lot more often though, so I wouldn't be surprised if that bumped the value to the 1 + mil range, but you will need to go through AH to be sure.
There was an exploit that was widely announced today that lets you know how many propertied an un-identified item has before you ID it. Due to this, I would advise againt buying unIDs until this has been patched, and maybe a day to so afterwards, since if they know the exploit they will almost certainly be selling the 4 prop.

Unfortunately the ones worth millions are the ones with attack speed 15%, since quivers are the only place that the nerf didn't happen. Dex and Vit are nice to have, MF is always a bonus. This would probably get a couple hundred thousand maybe? I use 2 1-handed crossbows, so I've been out of the quiver market for quite some time.

I understand how frustrating it can get. When I hit the Act 2 wall I just went back to leveling other classes since that was my plan eventually anyway.
If friends were on I may farm with them or level toons together. So I really haven't reached that frustration with not getting good drops yet at this point. Got more frustrated with the difficulty of Act 2 pre 1.03 but I guess that also relates back to not getting the drops and relying on AH to get the gear you need.

That quiver can have up to +20% IAS, so it is definitely on the low side of things. Surprised if it would fetch more than a couple hundred K. Lowest price for a buyout right now is 170 K.

I bought DML with similar Dex/IAS but with 144 Vit and no MF for 150k.

I'm level 15 and fairly new to the game. Do you guys typically auction Rares? I got one that I can't find in any of the Diablo 3 wiki's and wondering if I should throw it on auction.

To be honest, the item market for below 60 is probably next to nothing. Probably not worth your time to be selling stuff at that low level.

Actually, that is not true.
Lots of people leveling characters with big bank accounts. Putting stuff that is good for leveling, like +exp is very good for up and coming players. Its not like they have a crop of 60+ ilvl items waiting to be posted. Might as well have something in the AH rather than have it sit empty.
Currently leveling a barb and I don't even blink at dropping 10k+ on a level 15 item with 10-12 +exp and str/vit. The stuff I put back on AH sells fairly quickly as well. Barbs are the new 'thing' so if you get gear that is good for them (str/vit/LoH/fast 1 handers(with sockets)) you can get even more.
The main thing to do this is make sure you post a buyout. If someone is leveling a character, they want an item now, not in 12-36 hours when the character is already 5-10 levels higher. Almost every item on the AH at this level, doesn't have a buyout. I wouldn't bother researching prices either, just dump every good piece you get for 5k each and be done with it. Remember, you are only earning money to get yourself through. Don't farm items or gold or worry about stats like Magic Find/Gold find until after you hit 60. The only thing that matters is progression and exp. Skip elites and champ packs unless they are directly in your way.
My barb is level 37 and I have about 7 hours on him and am almost done Act 1 Nightmare. I don't know if that is fast compared to some people, but it seems like I am leveling quickly due to my +exp (about 140 +exp and 19% bonus to exp) compared to my first character.

+XP stuff does not scale very well. Just make sure you have the highest XP gem you can afford in your helm and stack DPS gear for super fast leveling. If you want to blast through the last 18 levels start searching now for Level requirement reduction gear it goes to -18. If you find a high DPS -18 weapon its crazy fun at level 42 on.

I totally agree, and should have mentioned that, as I have upgraded from my level 15-20 gear, the +exp is becoming less and less important in my considerations.
