I guess sort of credit to Osaka for not actually retiring, but kind of takes the shine of the moment for Mboko for Osaka to effectively give up the last half of the match. Would have been so much cooler to win it in a match like last night.

She absolutely gave up lol. As jg13 mentioned her body language the second half of the match was that of someone who didn't want to be there. We all know her struggles, and good for her for continuing to try and make a career, but she accepted losing as soon as Mboko showed fight.

Mboko had the poise of a player who had won multiple titles. She is so special. The combination of amazing mental toughness with raw power is going to be something to watch.
