Jake is a little Dave. Dave was smaller who completed a lot of his passes. Difference is Jake has no arm strength and has a turnover problem.

If you're talking earlier in his career, difference is that Bo had a bit of an attitude, and Tate coming into relive him, was a proven commodity, although declining.
Dickenson doesn't trust the backups any more than he does Maier, who probably has the right attitude and work ethic but just doesn't have the consistency game to game or even quarter to quarter.

If f the HC doesn’t trust the backup QB’s, then the GM is failing his job. Gets awkward when the two hats are worn by the same guy. First thing to change though is the OC needs to be relieved and one guy should solely focus on it. That in itself would be a massive improvement. After that, a coach with balls to realize his QB1 isn’t any better than his QB2 or 3. Neither of those guys are going to do worse than your starter. If he’d come to that realization, it’d allow the fans to at least see you’re acknowledging the GM needs to get better QB’s in the system. Honestly - are you going to lose more games with QB2 etc in as opposed to staying with QB1?

It is frustrating to me to see the Stampeders continually lose great players to other teams, sure you will lose a few but not the amount they seem to lose every year. CSE doesnt care about anything other than the Flames. Would love it if a real passionate fan much like the guy who bought the Elks would buy the team as CSE doesnt really care, at least thats how i feel.
