Yep. This is probably the worst game of the season to date. Injuries and the cheaters getting a ton of hits.
Its one thing to be blown out from time to time, but this one sucks. I hope that hobbit Altuve trips down the dugout stairs or something.

I'm just wondering why our current closer was brought into the 8th inning of a game we were losing 7-2? With all the injuries Dolis is pretty much the top high leverage righty in the pen. Is being down 7 to 2 a high leverage spot?
Then to ice the cake even more, after Dolis gets hurt he brings in Borucki.

Not sure on Borucki but Dolis hadn’t pitched since Atlanta. Relievers need regular work and you just can’t hold them to only use in games you’re close in. Letting them go that long between pitching will generally just lead to more injuries.

Pitching seemed pretty bad last night but there might be a good reason for it.

Basically Jansen is setting up super early and giving the hitters time to react (likely through signals from base runners or the dugout) That Correa home run was super fishy unless he knew an inside pitch was coming. He even gave a nod of thanks to the dugout when running the bases.
