The FC profile on McDonald is pretty glowing and I don't hate the pick, two blue chip goalie prospects now.

Only thing I'd say is that they should lay off the goalies for the rest of the draft now though, playing time is always a concern for young guys with only a couple developmental spots in the organization where goalies get lots of ice and I think one goalie is enough.

Also hopefully the kid gets some games this year, a bit surprising that the guy only saw 29 games.

Any Q posters comment on if he will have a starting job this year?

With the goalies that went immediately after the Flames picked McDonald, you have to think they were smart picking him where they did, wanting a goalie.

That being said, I hate Buffalo. Reinhart and now Cornel.

Ya it would be better if the broadcast was just the board and the voices were in the background.

As much as I like Bob McKenzie, I would rather see what's actually going on then his mug.
