^ I will give a copy of Charlie's Angels: Full Throttle, autographed by director McG, to the first person to do it.
Re: your signature. Links are in my Draft Board. I link to the post where you made the pick/write-up in the (Round#-Pick#), and to the IMDB page in the movie title. Hopefully, it will make it easy for the judges to do their work.
Feel free to take them.

Beautiful story, beautiful scenery and beautiful sport. There is nothing that I don't like about this film. Adapted from Norman Maclean's book, it is the story of two Montana brothers and the different paths their lives take in 1920's Montana. This film won the 1993 Oscar for best cinematography and was shot on location in and around Livingston and Bozeman, MT though the story takes place in Missoula.
This is one of Brad Pitt's finest performances in a career that I think includes many fine performances. His portrayal of Paul Maclean is beautiful, in a way. He is a man consumed by demons, and the grandeur of his homeland. Pitt really makes that come through on screen.
The movie was directed and narrated by Robert Redford, and he was great in both roles.
Perhaps the best thing about this movie is the beautifully shot flyfishing scenes. All real.
Honestly, this is one of my top 5 movies of all time. I love it that much. I don't expect it to rank that highly for others as no doubt much of my affinity for it comes from the commonality of being madly in love with the part of the world I was born in (similarly to Paul Maclean) and my love of getting lost in the majesty of the Rocky Mountains and the love of family.
I highly recommend Maclean's books.

I love, love, love this movie! One of the best dark comedies ever made, IMO and the film that made me a Vince Vaughn fan. Without Clay Pigeons, I wouldn't have experienced the goodness that is Made and Swingers!
It's the story of a serial killer who befriends a small town mechanic who winds up suspected of the murders himself. It's very small town....everybody knows everybody and their business. The movie plays on that very well.
Great performances by Vaughn, Joaquin Phoenix, Janeane Garofalo and Scott Wilson. Georgina Cates also turns in a wicked performance that really makes the movie sizzle.
Directed by David Dobkin.
Just good fun...and Vince Vaughn.....too good.

Ok without further ado, It's Just A Flesh Wound are pleased to select with our 2nd Wildcard;
Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade
I've always been an Indy fan and I actually contemplated taking Raiders with my first pick. Shawshank is much too good to let that happen though. So, I'll take the 2nd best Jones movie. This is a pure, old fashioned Saturday matinee adventure escapism. It's what movies are all about. Speilberg owed the fans this one after the Temple of Doom debacle and he delivered in spades. I'm glad to be able to add this solid contender to my team at such a late stage, and my second 'grail' movie too!
I'll keep it going, if Got Miikka? is asskicking himself. With another Wildcard pick, Team MissTeeks selects Empire Records.
This is basically a movie where nothing much happens. It's one of my favorite lazy day movies to watch because it doesn't require much thinking. It stars several actors who would become way more famous later in their careers, Liv Tyler and Renee Zellweger. It's got a good 90's soundtrack and always makes me laugh.
Synopsis:
Quote:
Empire Records is going to be turned into a Music Town. It is up to the wacky employees to figure out a way to raise enough money to help their boss Joe keep the store from changing hands. They also deal with problems amongst themselves, love, and a has-been spoiled rock star named Rex Manning.
The Quest stands upon the edge of a knife. Stray but a little, and it will fail, to the ruin of all. Yet hope remains while the Company is true. Go Flames Go!
I apologize to everyone in the draft. I've been dropping the ball the last few rounds. I'll get these done and complete the posts before the weekend is out.
With the 431st pick in the CP Movie Draft, StrayBullet selects Coming To America starring, Eddie Murphy. Coming To America will fulfill the Wildcard #2 slot.

with our first wildcard selection DVD-eh? selects:
Final Fantasy: Advent Children
Wont make a whole lot of sense if youve never played the video game but here goes anyways....
2 years after the events of Final Fantasy 7, a disease known as Geostigma is spreading through the planet. One day, Cloud Strife receives a phone call from the former Shinra, Inc. president, Rufus, asking him for protection from a mysterious man named Kadaj. Kadaj, in the meantime, along with his brothers Loz and Yazoo, are searching for their "mother", and seem to believe that Cloud knows where to find her. Meanwhile, Vincent Valentine has been wandering the planet gathering information on Kadaj's scheme, and Cloud and his friends must come together again to prevent another reunion

Thank you for not discussing the outside world
A River Runs Through it is a great great movie, Dis. People always talk about James Earl Jones and Morgan Freeman, but Redford is underrated as a narrator.
I'm not much of a fisherman, I prefer mtn biking or hiking for my outdoor activities, but I enjoy the same things I think that fishermen do.
In the Wildcard category 6DTM is proud to select the all-time greatest teen movie, Ferris Beuller's Day Off.
Matthew Broderick is endearing as a teen for whom everything comes easy, but for me the strength of the film is the storyline that follows Cameron (played by Alan Ruck) as the repressed best friend. Add in great moments with Jennifer Grey and Charlie Sheen, Ben Stein, and the recently troubled Jeffrey Jones, and it's one of the most entertaining films of the 1980s.
