I know Trubisky didn't have the best start to the season, but I fail to see what Foles brings to the table.

All the available QBs in the NFL this offseason and the Bears still had to find the worst one.
Nick Foles is the worst

Less mobility and worse decision making

Might as well roll with Trubisky, he sucks too, but at least he's motivated to play well as it is probably his last chance to see anything other than a backup second contract.

No way this game is tied with Trubisky in the place of Foles. Foles is terribad.

Trubisky is better than Foles. If only by a fraction. Trouble is the Bears probably have the leagues worst Oline.
Nagy made his choice with Foles and he will go down with him.

Agreed, I don't get why they continue to give Foles the long leash. Trubisky is at least a threat to run and is a better scrambler.

I mean saying one mid-level backup is slightly better than another mid-level backup sounds....like the Chicago Bears QB history. The Panthers just did the first ever all-defense draft, maybe the Bears should draft a QB with every pick, surely they have to hit on one of them.

That's the entire offense for the Bears. Doesn't matter who is behind center,

The Trubisky pick seriously feels like it cost the Bears at least one Super Bowl. But then again Nagy really sucks as both an in-game coach and a playcaller, so maybe even with Watson or Mahomes it wouldn't matter. It is always is sad to me to watch great defense go to waste because the offense is crap.

Pace has also been a pretty abysmal GM.

I agree that the Bears offensive line sucks, but I think Foles is exceptionally bad. I don't remember ever watching a starting Quarterback scramble so nervously and poorly as Foles.

Of course I didn't realize that Trubisky was out, with an injured shoulder on his throwing arm...

That Minnesota team doesn't look too bad, they have some special pieces on offence in Cook and Jefferson and Thielen is pretty damn good too.
That young defence is learning quick on the job. If, and thats a big if, they can get out of Cousins contract and get a legit QB next year or so, they can be good but Im sure they will screw it up.

Pace is a weird one. The guy makes decent signing gs and his drafting outside the 1st round is pretty great... but hisn1st round picks and QB choices are indeed abysmal

Trubisky by all accounts still has a winning record and much better team stats when he plays.
This offense without Trubisky should go to show that he isnt nearly as bad as he is made out to be, but the Oline and Matt Nagy make him look worse tha he actually is.
He is not a generational talent, but he could easily be a game manager with an elite defense that he has. Right now Rivers has a winning team in Indy with less offensive talent and an equal defensive talent.
