To be fair for oiler fans gwg is a useless stat because they rarely win. Eventually they will put two and two together and realize there is a direct correlation between wins and gwg.

No one but you can decide what productive uses of your time are. The "I'm so disappointed and disinterested I can't watch" bit is odd, but whatever floats your boat.
How is it odd? If i’m not having fun why would I continue to watch? I have much more fun watching the 76ers play so that’s where I invest more of my sporting leisure time. When the Flames get back to playing an entertaining brand of hockey (and also winning games) then i’ll get back to watching again. Until then I’m more than fine casually following the team.

Part of what's falling apart on this forum here. The trolling on these threads. It's not a thread about Draiwhogivesacrap, it's a thread to celebrate a damn fine center by the name of Sean Monahan. Quit trolling the goddamn thread and go watch the Oilers already. Monahan is having a great season, and this thread is to celebrate that. If we need to compare them, then start another thread or something.

NHL.com ranked Drai ahead of Monahan coming into this season and he’s still outpacing him again this season with less to work with. Drai has spent about half of his time with McDavid and about the other half running center rotating with literal garbage on his wings like Khaira/Lucic/Strome/Puljujarvi/Caggiula/Slepyshev. I know it’s hurts a lot of the posters on this site in their chest to give the Oilers any semblance credit (I get it, rivalries)... I despise them too, but I can be objective and note how skilled of a player Draisaitl is.
Monahan is a centre 100% of the time while Drai is 50% of the time. I know who I want.
Lol Monahan is a Center with more points, Draisaitl is a winger who plays with McDavid. I know who I’m taking. Don’t know why we are comparing a Center with a winger here.
