Did you know that the Manchester Derby was today? I heard it was on. I thought it was City vs. United? How did that go?

You would have to know a lot about turds and defending them.

Arsenal trying to wrap up the goal differential tiebreaker today. Might win this by 10+, Sheffield are horrific.

Shots fired Mr. Alexander-Arnold. Shots. Fired.
Quote:
Trent Alexander-Arnold was interviewed by FourFourTwo and suggested that success “means more” to Liverpool and its fans given they don’t have the financial muscle of Manchester City. He said: “It's tough. We're up against a machine that's built to win - that's the simplest way to describe City and their organisation.
”Looking back on this era, although they've won more titles than us and have probably been more successful, our trophies will mean more to us and our fanbase because of the situations at both clubs, financially. How both clubs have built their teams and the manner in which we've done it, probably means more to our fans.”

How are those hundred or so Financial charges going City?

Trent acting like Liverpool are the Little Sisters of the Poor and not, you know, one of the top five most valuable clubs on earth. Funny ####. With his view in mind surely he thinks Leicester's title means significantly more, like at least 100 times more, than Liverpool's. Probably not though.

he's not wrong though. City's titles are hollow and mean very little.

City's titles being hollow is true, as is Liverpool acting like plucky underdogs being comical. Speaking of comical, that was comical by Ramsdale at the end of the half.

Just more of the same scouse whinging. We've heard it all before.
Always somebody else's fault. Fergie time. Ref conspiracies. Howard Webb. United spending too much. Why are they banning our racists? It's so unfair. And of course. TFSW and his Facts!

Pretty sure this is a shot fired at the cheating, not the spending.

Well...I think the spending was the cheating. So...it kind of goes hand-in-hand.

Well yes, I’m just saying it don’t think he’s complaining about Liverpool being poor, just stating the facts the City have cheated their way to the top and nobody cares about what they have accomplished.

And I think he's right.
I look at teams like Arsenal, Spurs, Liverpool and others and they're building teams, but they have to operate as businesses.
Whereas Petro-Clubs just have gigantic pools of cash and buy their way to titles. Other clubs have to actually work for it.
I can understand the sentiment.

115.
It's not the spending, it's the cheating. TAA simply verbalized what everybody at the other clubs thinks, but won't say publicly.

I do think it's kind of funny that people will look back on this era of the first decade of man city success under petro state cheating and the only memorable title is the aguero last minute winner one
Outside of that they just kind of meld and dont matter as much
I cant imagine how much more joy Leicester fans got out of their league win than man city fans have for all but that one moment

In the Championship, Watford have sacked their head coach once again. Their new interim boss is ... Tom Cleverley. I kid you not.

And it’s because they’re so obviously financially doped that they’re also people’s second favourite. I’d greatly prefer they win as opposed to some other clubs. I highly doubt I’m alone in that.
