Just....everyone (in production) slowly back away from SNW....let them do what they're doing. Its working...do not mess with it or you risk letting the magic out!!

Well they’re 2 for 4 really. Discovery and Picard are bad, Lower Decks and SNW are great. Be interesting to see what we get next.

My child loves Prodigy. I like watching it with them. So it’s probably just not for you (assuming you’re an adult w/o trek kids).
So I’d go 3/5.

I thought Picard was super strong for both seasons.
I gave Prodigy a try and thought the pilot was good but everything else was awful, but as mentioned, I'm not the target audience. I really hated the main guy (Dex).

Picard was about 95% 'Hot Awful.'
Picard's claim to fame appears to have been that they had some interesting ideas that they teased you with and then abandoned those in order to get back to their primary of goal of sucking. Sucking long and sucking hard.

Kids are older. They like Lower Decks, but Prodigy initially looked like a cool kind of Star Wars Rebels style cartoon, but it came off a little bit too “here’s the moral of today’s episode” age target.

I wish this weren’t true. It was bad fan service and not much else.

Well that LD was gold...solid gold.
The dynamic between the Captain and Engineers? Oh yes!

I love how they're continuing to show the aftermath of "normal" Star Trek episodes. I wonder if captains being possessed are covered in the fleet manuals, it seems to be a very common occurrence

I have to disagree. I think the show found itself in the fourth episode of the first season and then didn't look back all the way to the end of season two. This third season has felt disjointed, overly easter-egged, and the writing just doesn't feel as tight. Boimler losing his mind and trashing up the place today felt like a shark jump, but then the whole series is kind of a shark jump, but still.
