Haha sure.

I get it. This guy is a lawyer and, by all indication highly unlikely to be a good one. He really needs this Government gig...

Dominic Leblanc going to be sworn in as new finance minister. per CBC

Appears the Gov will intend to downplay and "business as usual"

Until such time, we can judge him and the NDP leader on their leadership qualities as opposition leaders.

I will respectfully disagree about the carbon tax.

I loathe Trudeau, but in most places, you don't get to be #1 if you were kind of a joke as a #2. PP's value to the Conservative Party when he wasn't leader was he was the bulldog. All he did was attack. That's all he still does, but if he hasn't learned to act maturely by now, an elevation is not going to fix it.

He’s been an MP since 2000 and held a number of important positions during his time.

Most notably, cardboard stand-up Finance Minister of a doomed government.

Its amazing that JT has taken the LPC from a majority to 2 minorities to very possibly finishing 4th in the next election.

8 ministers resigning within a 6 month period.

PP, Singh and now Blanchette all calling for a resignation.

At least 3 caucus members publicly saying he has to go....just today.

The narcissism required to ignore all that is something of legend.

It's a joke. They were even joking on CTV just now that Leblanc seems to be the LPC's custodian these days.

JT should have seen the writing on the wall like a year ago, and the LPC should have pushed him out. So they're all to blame.

Then one would think he'd be smart enough to exit the building when it's on fire.

I mean it's not really that amazing when you consider the Lib's were on their knees pre JT and being kicked to the curb by the NDP, JT was brought in to rally all those boomers that remembered his dad and all the fun they had in the 60's and 70's, he never had any political weight, he appealed to liberal/Canadian nostalgia and appealed very well as it turned out, but he was always using his personal appeal to resurrect a dead party that needed to reinvent itself and he just staved that off, once his appeal was over the party has gone back to where it was pre JT

This FES could be like a grenade.

I expect the PMO will message out that the financial mess is all on Freeland and not on Justin.
