This is ridiculous and cruel, and if anyone thinks the letting this guy run and possibly being the president for 4 more years is an uncaring psychopath and that includes Biden's family.
Frankly putting him on the campaign trail for the next few months is probably going to not only seriously impact Joe's health but likely hand the presidency to Trump.
This is like that scene in Jerry Maquire with the concussed hockey player, and I'll post it below. The Kid represents America, Maquire the Biden family and the Democrats. and the hockey player is Biden.
In 2 years or less if they let this happen, Biden will be a complete dementia zombie or dead, because they're going to tear half of what's left of his life away from him.
Its not anyone's problem that the Democrats succession plan is Harris, and she's just not good.
OR that the Democrats don't have anyone in terms of bench strength. But its time to pull Biden out of the race and if Hunter and Jill argue it, tell them to F themselves.

It's kind of the worst case Ontario for Dems: it's obviously bad, but it's not so catastrophically bad that it will lead to more calls for him to withdraw. If this was as bad or worse than the debate then it'd probably be a cavalcade of Dems going on the record. Instead, it's mostly treading (admittedly terrible) water.

Biden's right when he says he's done countless events since the debate while Trump has just been hiding and golfing. But the truth is, Trump doesn't have to do more right now, Biden and the Dems are doing the work for him.
Is it just me or is this presser way too calm so to speak? I don't think the media has the questions in advance or anything but the calmness to this press conference and not having a rapid fire number of questions seems calm.
When extremely serious press conferences occurred with Trump, it was an aggressive conference with lots of questions, follow ups and hard core questions. This seems soft considering the stakes.

Even though I think Harris losses as badly or even worse if she's the nominee, she's at least a live candidate, so there's some small hope Trump could make some unforced errors (as if they'd matter lol). With Biden it's basically about running out the clock, a few token rallies where Trump can get the ego trip fix and say insane ramblings and non-sequiturs, and it's a wrap.

The gaffes are what’s going to be shown a billion times though. Not his ramblings and comments like “I poll better in Israel than here” or “I’m not too old, the polls are wrong” (which is a train wreck ending!).
Honestly, he’s done. If it’s true that dozens of democrats are set to say he should step down tomorrow, he can’t possibly survive.

The substance was pretty solid tonight. I'm still pretty ok with Biden as president. He's a candidate that can't win anymore though.
The tinfoil hat people are 100% accurate. No way this guy is running the country. He's a puppet for the powers at be
