Davis Cup announced. It will come down to Dancevic vs Tipsarevic as long as Milos can take care of business.
Dancevic vs Djokovic - Djokovic wins
Raonic vs Tipsarevic - Raonic wins
Nestor/Pospisil vs Zimonjic/Lajovic -Nestor/Pospisil wins
Raonic vs Djokovic - Djokovic wins

I like power more than finesse.

So do I but this guy has ZERO finesse. Can't believe he is a top 15 player in the world.

Cause outside the top 15 are a bunch of headcases. If Pospisil can learn how to finish matches, he'd be top 15 too.
Raonic does have good feel around the net. Good dropshots. Some of his volleys and half-volleys in the 4th set tiebreak were amazing but was still not enough.
His footwork and backhand are awful, need to work on that.

I don't think he'll ever develop it enough to become a serious threat.

One dimensional players don't reach the top ten. But guys without a good return game don't reach the top five. That's where Raonic's primary need for growth is.

Milos looked worn out the longer each set went on. Dare i say fitness is an issue?

The fact Ferrer is currently getting a beatdown from Gasquet makes Milos loss even more painful. Should have been a semifinal appearance rather than a 4th round ouster.

all of it fodder for the Nadal meat grinder anyways. and now that Ferrer has the break in the 3rd, I'd actually say it's more likely Gasquet chokes in 5 than moves on. all we need now is Girly to jump in with the (very justified) swipe at French players and their single digit tennis IQ.

Just came back from the match....Ferrer really stunk. And even when he upped his game, he did nothing special. Raonic would've absolutely pushed Ferrer to the brink.
It was such a pro-Gasquet crowd today. "Allezzzzz Reeechardddd"

As much as I have mocked Gasquet for being a mental midget he is a really nice player and I am happy and SHOCKED that he's won two 5 setters. He didn't choke!
