I'm happy for this. Not that I really give a crap about the Nobel Peace award as questionable people have been given it in the past, but Donald Trump is so used to be being given everything in life without earning it, it is nice to see him not get something that he wanted so badly and that you can't buy or bully people into giving you.

The whole Israel-Palestine war ending is good, but it is ending because Hamas is utterly defeated. That was always the way it was going to end no matter who was president. If anything, Trump probably let it go on longer than it needed to. Now that the Nobel is off the table, I suspect it will be business as usual again, but that was probably going to be the case even if he won.

I am more inclined to believe he, or his flunkies, will just create a 'better than a Nobel' prize for him to win...like how he 'wins' his golf club championships.
