On Kremlin TV, Putin intimate Solov'yov says Russia so encouraged by Trump taking their side no longer see need for ceasefire.
"No, there won’t be any ceasefire. Our idea of peace is everything happening as we see fit”
Then plays a clip of Vance slamming Ukraine.
Vance is "our man" he says.

Longform analysis on the war, well worth listening to.
One note for the history books that's also mentioned on the video: drones are estimated to have overtaken artillery as the #1 source of casualties in this war, with high end estimates giving them as much as 70% of all casualties. They are still continuing to improve, proliferate, and take over more duties, especially on the Ukrainian side.
Warfare is now likely permanently changed by drones. As one response, electronic warfare has also become a must have for survival on the battlefield.

It's personal for Trump. Zelensky declined his request to collaborate on bringing down Biden. Putin, on the other hand, helped Trump to defeat Hillary. He does not care what is the best for USA, let alone what's best for Ukraine.

I think there are 2 realistic scenarios that come from this Ceasefire proposal to Russia.
1. They turn down the ceasefire, in which case there is no possible way that Trump can keep accusing Ukraine of being the roadblock in negotiations.
2. They accept the ceasefire terms, ask for way to much in negotiations and then fighting resumes. In this time they have built back up and attack even harder. At this point it's 50/50 whether Trump blames Ukraine or not. My guess is Trump will blame Ukraine and will want to bend to an overreach in Russian requests just to 'end the war'.

I'm sorry, but clearly you haven't been paying attention.
The phrase "There is no possible way that Trump", is no longer a valid way to begin a sentence.

You are right, I need to stop thinking Rationally when it comes to him. Let me re-phrase. It's the best chance of Trump stopping the blame of Ukraine in being the roadblock to finding peace.

Rumors out of Russia that Igor Girkin aka Strelkov has committed suicide. He was the FSB commander in charge of starting the war in 2014, and was found responsible for downing MH-17 in Dutch court. He originally cut his teeth killing people in Bosnia and Kosovo helping the Serbs in the Balkan war.

Hilarious, "commit suicide". A guy who is a war criminal was so suddenly depressed he what? jumped out a window? in prison?

I'm surprised he made it this far, he basically told everyone in 2022 that Russia would lose. He somehow outlived Prigozhin despite being more outspoken against the way Russia was fighting the war much earlier.

PARIS/QUEBEC, March 11 (Reuters) - More than 30 army chiefs among Washington's closest allies met in Paris on Tuesday without their U.S. counterparts, seeking to take on more responsibility over the Ukraine war given President Donald Trump's unpredictability and rapprochement with Moscow.
The closed-door gathering of 34 army chiefs, including NATO alliance and EU members as well as Japan and Australia, was a rare - and possibly unprecedented - convening without the U.S.
The talks aimed in part to assess options and capabilities to guarantee Ukraine's security in the event of a ceasefire, including potential European peacekeepers, and to maintain Kyiv's long-term military strength.
"The political message is we can do it together and without the United States, but it's clear there are things we can't do and the problem with Russia is we need to have deterrence," said a European diplomat involved in the talks, adding that the meeting was largely pre-planning.
A military official said the U.S. was not invited, in an intended signal that Europe and other partners could take their responsibilities given Trump has distanced himself from allies.
Officials said the presence of countries like Japan and Australia, both of whom have also faced uncertainty from the new U.S. administration, showed a deeper malaise among Washington's traditional allies.

The Russians want to encircle AFU in the Kursk direction, but on Ukrainian territory. Our troops and command know about this. Our partners have satellites, let them see where the Russians are accumulating troops and where they are sent,"
Putin is lying to everyone about the situation on the ground, especially about what’s happening in the Kursk region, where our Ukrainian forces continue their operations.

Macron's very important statements regarding Ukraine If Ukraine decides and asks for allied forces to be on its territory, it is not up to Russia to accept or not. https://twitter.com/user/status/1900993997184684235
So, Putin made Witkoff wait humiliatingly in the reception room for eight hours, just so he could have yet another "urgent" meeting with Lukashenko—once again spending hours chuckling at his clownery in front of the cameras.
Let me tell you one thing -- people in the Kremlin's inner circle just roll on the floor laughing and can't believe it's all real every single time Donald Trump says anything about Russia's war in Ukraine.
