All I'll say without going into the confessional thread is that our friendship isn't exactly at its strongest right now and it is all her fault. I resent her a bit so my bitter attitude has some well deserved background to it. I became friends with one of her good friends (who is also a girl) and now friend a is jealous of friend b. But friend b has a boyfriend and neither of us are remotely attracted to each other. (at least I don't think but she's made it pretty obvious she doesn't have a thing for me)

Oh, I should have clarified. The "wow" was that she wants to date you, but doesn't pay any attention to you while you are talking to her? ... and she wants to date you, right?

Oh!
Yeah. She's younger than me and lives and breathes for texting but is such a whore for her phone that an unread text can't sit in her inbox for longer than 10 seconds.
I wouldn't even mind if she picked up her phone and just glanced at it. Maybe with a courtesy "hold on a sec". But she'll actually just ignore me for minutes at a time while she responds. Drives me nuts. And right when I'm in the middle of talking too. Argh! Making me angry just thinking about it now.
I answer my phone in most situations too, but that is to talk to a real human and if I'm out with someone I won't just spend 5 minutes shooting the shiznat. If we're watching TV or something I don't care as much but right in the middle of a conversation when there is only 2 of us there is pretty rude.

You mean people who know who The Fonz really is but you don't know who is behind their handle? But how would they know who you are? Until I told my friends who I was on CP most of them had no idea which username I had. I guess I might talk the way I type so there might be similarities there. Or if they read the Random Thoughts Thread or the Confessional Thread.

Well I had my pic posted for a while in that "show your mug" thread, but then I took it down because I'd like to remain anonymous. I'm just wondering if anyone I know saw my pic and knows my handle.

I'm glad that the only people that know about me posting on this forum are my good friends from Calgary... not sure if they lurk/post. I've worked with a certain poster on the board who's name I will not mention. Met a few through sale/purchase of tickets/items...
Aside from that... no one else should know who I am.

I confess I almost failed grade 11 english, except english was my first language. All that Shakespear and poetry crap, I mean seriously, who talks like that? And who cares if you can write or read poetry, its not like you use that in a job or anything.
