As I said in the hockey draft I am without internet since Friday and I am so desperate that I am using dial up. I will try to have my last picks up in the next little bit.

Is the draft board up to date?

The Infomercial Kings are proud to select in our Reality Ongoing selection: JetStream

I am sure that I am one of 12 people to have ever seen this show but I caught it on a Sunday marathon one day and it was great. This show is about a group of people that take Fighter Jet training from the 410 Squadron out of Cold Lake. It follows them from day one through to graduation.

For the last pick for the Infomercial Kings, we are proud to select another show that myself and about 12 other people watched, in the category of Reality Elimination: Last One Standing.

In the thrilling Discovery Channel series LAST ONE STANDING, six athletes – three American and three British – are immersed in the most remote tribes in the world, where they live alongside and train with indigenous tribespeople as they prepare to represent their host tribe in raw and intense competition. From death-defying Zulu stick fighting in South Africa to an arduous foot race in the Mexican mountains — wearing only handmade sandals — these men push their physical and mental limits to see who will be the last warrior standing.

The diverse group of athletes are at the top of their game: There is a BMX rider, a strongman competitor, an Oxford University sportsman, a hiker and endurance athlete, a kickboxer, and a British all-rounder and fitness professional. Together they compete in an array of tribal games and rite of passage ceremonies, where competition is frequently a metaphor for war. Completely immersed in a tribal culture, the adventurers live among the village warriors to train and prepare for the battle that lies ahead — no concessions are made.

LAST ONE STANDING gives viewers an intimate look into parts of the world removed from civilization. The competitors travel to Kalapalo, Brazil (wrestling); Zulu, South Africa (stick fighting); Tarahumara, Mexico (endurance running); Mongolia (wrestling); Trobriand Islands (tribal cricket); Sumi, Nagaland (Akikiti kickboxing); Senegal (wrestling); Papua, New Guinea (canoe racing); Brazil (Kraha log racing); Peru (glacial challenge); Java (martial arts); and Vanuatu (canoe racing).

The six competitors are Rajko, 29, a British all-rounder and former world record holder; Jason, 21, the 2006 Florida State BMX Champion; Richard, 21, an Oxford University sportsman who plays cricket, Rugby and croquet; Brad, 28, an American professional lightweight strongman; Mark, 26, a British salsa dancer and kickboxer; and Corey, 22, a hiker and endurance athlete. Each has different strengths and weaknesses, and all of them will be challenged as never before.

This was such a great show to see the diffrent types of people go to the remote tribes and participate in their sports. I loved every episode and hope they bring it back

In Sci-Fi/Fantasy, Team Alternate Feed selects...

Lois & Clark: The New Adventures of Superman (often called Lois & Clark or The New Adventures Of Superman) is a live-action American television series based on the Superman comic books. Lois & Clark aired on ABC from September 12, 1993 to June 14, 1997, and starred Dean Cain as Superman/Clark Kent and Teri Hatcher as Lois Lane.
The series loosely follows the comic philosophy of writer John Byrne with Clark Kent as the true personality, and Superman as a secondary disguise. As the show's title suggests, it focuses as much on the relationship between Clark Kent and Lois Lane as on the adventures of Clark's alter-ego.

In the Crime/Law category, Team Alternate Feed selects...

(My applogies for the big pic)

Harvey Birdman, Attorney at Law was a North American animated television series comedy created by Williams Street that aired on Cartoon Network during its Adult Swim late night programming block. It is one of three spin-offs of Space Ghost. The series' pilot first aired in 2000, and later became a series in 2001.[1] The show revolves around the activity of the Sebben & Sebben law firm, which is staffed mainly by superheroes and other characters who had originally been featured in 1960s-era Hanna-Barbera cartoons, most notably Birdman and the Galaxy Trio. The series had its final episode in 2007.
Harvey Birdman, Attorney at Law features ex-superhero Harvey T. Birdman of Birdman and the Galaxy Trio as an attorney working for a law firm alongside other cartoon stars from 1960s and 1970s Hanna-Barbera cartoon series. Similarly, Harvey's clients are also primarily composed of characters taken from Hanna-Barbera cartoon series of the same era. Many of Birdman's nemeses featured in his former cartoon series also became attorneys, often representing the opposing side of a given case.

Move Battlestar Gallactica from Action/Adventure to Soap Opera/Serials
Select The Greatest American Hero in Action/Adventure.

The Greatest American Hero is an American TV series which aired for three seasons from 1981 to 1983 on ABC. It premiered as a two hour movie pilot on March 18, 1981. It starred William Katt as teacher Ralph Hinkley (or Hanley), Robert Culp as FBI Agent Bill Maxwell, and Connie Sellecca as lawyer Pam Davidson. The series has a fanbase around the world, making it a cult classic. The series was created by producer Stephen J. Cannell and Joel Colon who helped design the costumes. The show is typical of his style of character-driven quirky drama, where the plot is secondary to the relationships among the characters.

Team Jumped the Shark is pleased to select Dungeons & Dragons in the cartoon category.

Dungeons & Dragons is an American animated television series based on TSR's Dungeons & Dragons role-playing game. A co-production of Marvel Productions and TSR, the show was popular in the United States and ran for three seasons on CBS.

The level of violence was controversial for children's television at the time, and the script of one episode, "The Dragon's Graveyard", was almost shelved because the characters contemplated killing their nemesis, Venger.

Team Jumped the Shark is super duper happy to select as out #1 Wildcard show:

Police Squad!

Police Squad! is a television comedy series first broadcast in 1982. It was a spoof of police dramas, packed with visual gags and non sequiturs.

Police Squad! was created by the comedy filmmaking trio Zucker, Abrahams and Zucker, who had previously worked together on The Kentucky Fried Movie and Airplane!. Despite critical acclaim, the show was cancelled by ABC after just six episodes. This was enough to gain a strong cult following through repeat broadcasts, which led to the 1988 film version The Naked Gun: From the Files of Police Squad! and two further sequels. Many gags from the show were recycled for the films.

Leslie Nielsen played a role that was written especially for him, as Detective Frank Drebin in the series and all three films. Alan North played the role of Captain Ed Hocken on the show; in the films, the role was played by George Kennedy. Peter Lupus also co-starred on the show as Officer Norberg (in the films, O.J. Simpson appeared as the similarly named Officer Nordberg). Ed Williams, who played scientist Ted Olson on the show, would reprise his role in the films, making him and Nielsen the only two actors from the series to appear in the movies. Robert Goulet, who appeared as one of the "special guest stars" who were invariably killed off at the beginning of their episodes, would appear as villain Quentin Hapsburg in the second Naked Gun film. Dr. Joyce Brothers played herself in The Naked Gun: From the Files of Police Squad! She also played herself in Episode 4 of the television series.

One noticeable difference between the series and the films is in the portrayal of Frank Drebin. In the series he is shown to be considerably more competent and strait-laced, and less Maxwell Smart-like than he is depicted in the films. The TV portrayal of Drebin was never intended to be overtly comic, merely a sendup of the ultra-serious Dragnet-like portrayal of TV cops. In the series, Drebin was intended to be the archetype of the straight man, in contrast to the rampant hilarity going on around him. It was not until the films that Drebin was changed to a more outwardly comic character.

With my fianal selection team Jumped the Shark is happy to pick as my #2 wildcard:

The series is set in somewhat fictional Camden County (believed to be in Maryland; the show refers to Hagerstown, Cumberland, and Frostburg University all places in Western Maryland. The creator of the show also attended Frostburg. However, in episode 4-16 the fictional reality show "Estrada or Nada" mentions they are in the Texas finals, and the weather and climate imitates the southern mid-west.) and stars Jason Lee, Ethan Suplee, Jaime Pressly, Eddie Steeples and Nadine Velazquez. Lee stars in the title role as "Earl J. Hickey", a petty crook with occasional run-ins with the law, whose newly won $100,000 lottery ticket is lost when he is hit by a car. Lying in a hospital bed, under the influence of morphine, he develops a belief in the concept of karma when he hears about it during an episode of Last Call with Carson Daly. He decides he wants to turn his life around and makes a list of all the bad things he's ever done. After doing his first good deed, he finds his $500,000 lottery ticket. He sees this as a sign and, with his new lucky money, he proceeds to cross items off the list, one-by-one, by doing good deeds to atone for them.

I'll leave you with this..............
