Yup, Arthur Fils is another, He lost in qualifying for the Banja Luka tourney, but he's just 18 and currently ranked #122.

Laver Cup ticket update - I received an e-mail today that included the following:
Top-ranked Americans Taylor Fritz and Frances Tiafoe will return to Team World as they bid to defend their Laver Cup title this year at Rogers Arena in Vancouver from September 22-24.
Single-session tickets go on sale on Friday, April 28 at 10am PST via Ticketmaster.
Single-session tickets will be available for each of the five sessions, with prices starting at CAD$35 for Friday's day session and CAD$50 for all other sessions (excluding tax & fees).
Fritz and Tiafoe join Canadian No.1 Felix Auger-Aliassime on Captain John McEnroe's six-man Team World.

what does $35 get you, a stool behind a pillar? also dammit when does Carlos get confirmed? I doubt there will be any legacy Big 3 presence at this other than Roger posing for pics in a suit, so I want the NB3 all there repping Europe.

Probably not a great seat, but the wife had a good time at the BJK Cup this past weekend (granted, I got some pretty good seats about 10 rows off the court so that likely helped), thus I'm going to try to scoop a couple of seats for the Laver Cup as this is going to be my best chance to see some of the top ATP guys.

It's interesting, I think it will depend on if she keeps getting derailed by injuries. She certainly doesn't need the money and in my opinion you have to admire the fact that she continues to toil away at these lower level events trying to get her ranking high enough to qualify for the main WTA events.

If his mind was on a different planet that day why did it take him so long to own up to it?

I think she likes the purpose/excuse to travel, and likely getting whatever wild card spot (and very modest perks) these tournaments will give her for her appearances is also gravy.

Shapo opens up his Barcelona campaign with a win over Jozef Kovalik 6-4 6-3. He will likely take on Tsitsipas next.

Just speculation here, but I think he was getting roasted pretty badly on social media and based on how frequently he tweets, he realized he needed to turn things around as quickly as possible.

Watching Van Assche versus Djokovic, the young kid from France is hanging in there quite well versus Novak.
Edit: Van Assche just broke and is serving for the opening set at 5-4
Edit 2: Djokovic breaks to get back on serve.

Van Assche prevails in the opening set tie-break winning it 7-4. Novak keeps going to the drop shot and the French kid has the quickness of De Minaur and keeps punishing Novak.
Edit: Novak played much better in set 2 and takes it 6-3. We're going the distance.

Van Assche ran out of gas in set 3 and Novak takes set 3 rather easily, but a really impressive performance from the young Frenchman. As Girly said earlier, certainly one to watch going forward.

I have been a fairly harsh critic of hers in the past for her commitment on court, but you are right on, she does need to be applauded for sticking with it to this point. I would never have pegged that she would push it for this long.
On the other side, you could never question the commitment of someone like Milos, but if/when he does get back on court, I will certainly be impressed that he was willing to go to the wall as well.

Speaking of Milos, I thought he was going to return this year but it's been pretty quiet.

He played at that exhibition tourney in December of last year and according to this tweet from Ben Lewis, he's targeting a return for the grass court season.
