Well, unless Denis get can some returns back in play, we'll likely heading towards a first set tie-breaker.

Sloppy. Shapo loses 5 points in a row to lose the tiebreak. The guy plays with no handbrake.

It was the same as watching Felix yesterday, these young guys continue to whale on the ball instead of mixing things up with slices and changing pace, height etc.

Kwon is playing some very nice tennis - He did beat Milos earlier this year so he seems to like playing Canadians.

Not to make excuses, but this is where the lack of a crowd really hurts Denis. He feeds off their energy and a boisterous crowd would really help him out today.

Denis gets back on serve with a nice break of Kwon - Let's go Shapo!
Edit: Shapo getting some work done on his ankle during that last changeover.

Shapo now up two breaks in set 4 - He should be able to close this one out without too much trouble now.

Denis closes out the match winning 10 of the last 12 games. Shapo takes on Taylor Fritz in round 3.

On paper Felix should easily win tonight especially how long Murray played round one. However Murray is a crafty veteran and former world #1 I think it's going to be close.

Felix will need to serve well and remain patient (i.e. keep the unforced errors down), but I think he has a good chance tonight.

First game, down love-30 and Leylah plays four great consecutive points to hold serve. Nice start.
