The only time i want to hear bikes is when they ring their bell or call out 'on your left' when they pass me while im walking the pathways.
11 bikes went by me today, just one rang their bell.
Got a 2000 dollar bike cant spring for a 6 dollar bell? Losers.
Also, you look ridiculous wearing that spandex onesie

You must be one of those rare pedestrians that realize what a bike bell is. When I'm on my scooter on the paths and ring the bell, usually the person gets startled like a deer and jumps into my path. I find it easier to not bother with it anymore and just slow down to pass them so they don't freak out
Maybe some of them get startled because they never hear bells?
But the pedestrians you speak of are the rare ones, they exist for sure, but they arent the norm.
I went to Annie Foote in Temple kindergarten to grade 5. That was a diverse situation. Coolest part about kids is they don't even register it as diverse. You're just buddies with your group. My little posse was two white kids, a Chinese kid, a Pakistani kid and a black girl from Ghana.
I grew up in Temple. My dad still lives there. I went to St.Thomas Moore and Father Scollen. I wonder if we ever crossed paths.

Temple Represent!
I went to Guy Weadick and Clarence Sansom.
I took my daughter to see my old place and I have to say the neighborhood is looking a little run down. I swear one of the fences that I walked past to go to school hasn't been painted since I was a kid.

The event served lunch and had some vendor dinners and such. I could not believe the non-chalance that people waste food down there. I picked up on it a few times previously, but for some reason it was just particular egregious this time. Had a vendor dinner where 4 separate people ordered the 16oz rib eye, took 3 bites and put their napkin over the rest of the plate without even starting on the sides.
Is it a culture thing? Is it just that I haven't noticed Canadians in the same situations wasting just as much food? Just overabundance in the USA leading to people thinking that it's okay?

Ugh. It grinded me so much.
Never been on a vendor lunch/dinner/party here before?

16oz? Wow. Well...I wouldnt touch the sides either because that'd be a challenge to finish all on it's own.
But if it was a good cut I'd give it a good try!

Was the food good? I had a few issues eating out in the states. For one, the portions are impossible to finish, we would have enough from dinner for our lunches the next day - which is annoying because we don’t want to waste food, but want to eat last nights food. The other thing is they seem to salt the f out of it. A few places, it was as if the lid came off the chef’s salt shaker.

I don't think people are much different here based on my experience, I'm on board with Weitz on this one.
Saw this same group on Macleod on Friday night. They were a bit more restrained there (only one guy doing a wheelie) but it was frightening how fast they were weaving in and out of much denser traffic than in that vid.
