Part of me wants to point out the silly projection about being sensitive and needing to "get over it" since it didn't take green text to see the tongue-in-cheek tone of my response.

What, exactly, is a “proven goaltender”? Winning a playoff round once every few years?

Is there any evidence that those goaltenders who are “proven” perform better than those who aren’t? Why don’t forwards or defense have to be “proven”?

That seems harsh on Bingo, even though it was me who was disagreeing with him even I wouldn't go this far.

As I said earlier it just shows how much people are willing to ignore the truth when they are homers incapable of criticizing their team. It happens often in sports because fans put emotion over reason when it comes to their teams.

Might wanna rethink how a single belligerent personality can derail every discussion because moderation falls to one or two mods who gives a long leash and prefers the users just deal with it.

It takes months or years before a mod makes a personal judgment call that they've had enough. Consider on other social media like the flames subreddit they'd make one or two bad inflammatory troll posts and be downvoted to oblivion and then prevented by the automod from posting again.
