Oh really. Tell us all how.
I'm locked in at .0679 and when you add in the distribution, transmission and rate rider (which the study includes) you're at .188.
So worse than every province except Saskatchewan.

I’m no UCP defender but fuel mix is the enemy here in Alberta and much of that is to do with geography. Everyone else except for Saskatchewan has massive hydro to pull on or nuclear, thus isolating them from global energy markets.
There were things that could have been to maybe alleviate some of this but there is a reality to our baseload generation.

Solar power is being built "too quickly", but what's a little selenium between friends?

It's not even the guaranteed selenium poisoning of livestock. It's the massive use of water right at the headwater for the entire basin. We already have major issues with drought.
Who could have seen the UCP stabbing farmers and ranchers in the back coming?

Minister Dreeshen is probably tickled pink at the "Both sides, many sides" argument that Smith is channeling from the former Cheeto-in-Chief.
Well, maybe not the same shade of pink that is currently being used in counter-protest flags against the marching chuds today.

The coal mining is a leopard eating face moment. Enjoy your eaten face, Corb Lund and George Canyon (and other hill dwelling folk).

That, and all the rural healthcare facilities that are closed due to lack of staff. Like, hey, who would have thought there were consequences to not taking your vote seriously and thinking Danielle Smith somehow cared about anything but being popular.

Wait... wasn't Corb Lund pretty active against mining in the Rockies? Or is this a case where he voted UCP but thought they would never touch mining in the Rockies

Corb Lund was very active against Coal Mining. He also describes himself as Non-Partisan.
