And knee surgeons in the UK breathe a collective sigh of relief. Never been much of a fan of the pasty-faced chuffer.

Yeah but he was very easy to dislike. As Fergie put it, he had his fair share of "red mist" moments.

It wasn't his misty moments that got me, it was his terrible tackles. Poor technique was no justification for dangerous play.

Roy Keane debunked that whole Scholes as a bad tackler thing in his book a few years ago. Keane claimed that Scholes meant everyone of those terrible tackles when he would clatter into an opponent, taking him out at the knees or driving his studs into their legs. He deserved every single one of his red cards and probably missed out on a dozen more because people wanted to believe he was a decent chap who just couldn't time his tackles. They were dead wrong. Anyone who appeared to 'slight' him in any way would be remembered and would be dealt with.

Great guy.

great hires by both, Fulham massively upgraded from Hughes to MJ

Chelsea still should have never fired Ancelotti but Hiddink is a good manager

Okay, if Chelsea cant win with Hiddink they should just pack it up and transfer to the Scottish Premier League.

I dono if Hiddink has an eye for talent really, he's a good manager but that team needs somewhat of an overhaul

I dont think he has to. Hiddink is very good at getting the best out of whats available.

Besides, everyone knows that King Roman does and buys whoever he wants anyways, for instance, I sincerely doubt buying Torres was Ancelotti's idea.

But yes, Chelsea need an overhaul, but they're not going to get it, that place is an old boys club run by Terry, Lampard and Drogba.
