Probably because the the M.O. She has it figured out he is the Bay Harbor Butcher because of the plastic wrap and the blood slides.
Dexter was also never a suspect in Rita's death because he had an air tight alibi when she was killed.

The season is finding its stride now, after a mixed start. This was a much better episode.

So far this is way more interesting than Dexter vs Serial Killer X. Jennifer Carpenter takes a lot of heat for her acting but I think her acting really suits the role of someone that just found out her bro is a serial killer. I'm not sure there are many actresses that can pull it off as well as she has this season.
I think the writing and the content has allowed MC Hall to show us he is a great actor again. I found him just going through the motions the past few seasons but something seems different these past few eps.
I think this might be Quinn's last season. He's going to get himself in to trouble and pay the price...aka dead.
Looking forward to more of he Doakes isn't the BHB storyline.

What about Dexter and Hanna?
It seems Dexter was flustered by her. Does he actually have feelings for a woman that are genuine?

I don't see where she fits in with everything that is going on...but they have to find a way to get her on screen 100% of the time!

Not sure how much I believe debs reaction to everything that has been revealed to her this season.
Not saying it doesn't make the show interesting but I just don't buy deb ultimately not turning him in. That's just based on how I've read her character over six seasons.

Was anyone else slightly disappointed that the intern sending Dexter the arm turned into nothing? Kind of just let him go and nothing came of it, which was a let down for me.

I thought more was happening with the intern, but I was happy to see him go out like a punk.

Totally agree.
Getting rid of Louis felt like they didn't know what to do with him.
Deb gave up way too easy IMO.

How about the psycho character Speltzer and his crazy slaughter fun house. That was an intense scene. Hopefully they keep him involved for a few episodes.
This Ukraine Mob angle is defiantly different for a Dexter storyline. I like that his pest Louis got popped by his own ego.
I'm still not a fan of this Deb knowing and the constant confrontation with her bro.

Yeah, I really thought there was going to be some Brian Moser connection there. I thought he was a relative of some sort for sure.

His whole plot line may have just been setting up a police investigation into Dexter. He tells the babysitter that Dexter is out to get him, then he disappears and there are a few drops of his blood on Deter's boat. Dexter will look more guilty for Louis' disappearance than for any of his actual kills.

I thought the same thing if Dexter is unaware that Louis was shot on his boat, there could be evidence and I could see La Guerta poking around maybe.

I thought this too, but I think it will be Deb that finds the blood evidence.
I think Deb will come around to Dexter's view eventually, she seems to be headed in that direction already. But then she'll learn about the beef between Dexter and Louis, find out Louis is missing and then she'll start to suspect Dexter. She already knows the bay harbour butcher dumped his bodies in the ocean, so she'll check Dexter's boat and find Louis blood, and then all hell will break loose when she think that Dexter just goes after anyone who gets in his way.

Can someone remind me if Deb put the pieces together about the blood slides in Doakes' trunk and those she found in Dexter's apartment? She finally confronted Dexter about Rita's death...but has she said anything about Dexter getting an innocent cop killed and staging it to look like the was the Bay Harbor Butcher?

Didn't she ask him on last week's episode if he was the Bay Harbor Butcher?
I don't know if she put together that he framed Doakes, but I thought she had at least put together the fact that he kept slides like the BHB.
