Shouldn't have even happened. Our $18M QB missed an easy TD throw. Pathetic

Well Mahomes was terrific in the fourth, but Denver's dumb playcalling is why they lost. You're playing the hottest QB in the league and you're running it well with a fourth quarter lead. Don't wing it around with Case Keenum. Not complicated really.

Kareem Hunt was pretty good too. But Mahomes seems to have that hard to find ability to make the winning play that eludes most QB’s. Fortunate win, but 4-0 with two Division road wins, that’s awesome so far.

Man... put money in Denver +4.5 and the under (54.5) tonight... this is tense
So what's the payout? Congrats

That left handed throw was a thing of beauty...the kid just has "it" (whatever "it" is) in spades.
Very impressive even if Whitten was WAYYY over the top on his annointing him the next coming of Christ.

Didn’t watch the whole game but I did kind of like the hook and ladder call at the end. They needed a TD and it nearly worked. The odds are against you at that point.
Sounds like Denver abandoned the run when they needed it most?

Hopefully Mahomes can stay grounded and ignore the hype. Like Aaron Rogers he comes into a great situation for a young QB. Established coach lots of weapons around him. Than add in that Alex Smith is as good of a mentor that a young QB could understudy as there is. Something Rogers really didn’t have as Favre was more of a watch what I do but don’t ask me anything type.
There are some good young QBs come into the league the past three years in Goff, Wentz, Watson, and now Mahomes, and maybe Mayfield. Good to have as guys like Brees a Brady shouldn’t be able to play forever.

I said this game was the litmus test and Mahomes showed well... made a good defense look pedestrian and came back in crunch time.
The guy is the real deal, as long as he can avoid what ever seems to have affected Deshaun Watson.
Mahomes is impressive but we are approaching McJesus levels with this commentary.
To be fair, I don't think I have ever seen a guy switch hands on the run and throw a pass wrong-handed for a first down like that. Completely ridiculous. Reminds me of this.

He is super poised. I wonder if Sylvanfan would agree with me that he doesn't even have an above average group of wideouts to work with either, though Hunt and Kelce are both elite and mitigate some of that.

Watkins are Hill are likely the best tandem of wide outs that the Chiefs have had as far as I can remember. Conley is a good down field blocker and Robinson and Thomas are decent secondary guys. Probably as good of a group as I can remember. But no doubt when Watkins left the game it's a noticeable drop off. It's not Isaac Bruce and Tory Holt.

Has Watson really been bad so far? He is less than a year from a pretty bad injury. Teams also had all off season to study the little tape that they did have on him, and his offensive line and running game are nothing like what the Rams have for example.
I think Watson is fine...like Andrew Luck, his issue is that the Texans aren't putting enough talent around him.
