Nice. Polansky breaks again and takes the 2nd set 6-4.

According to my live scoreboard, the Polansky - PHH match has been suspended. I guess Peter wrapped up the second set just in time.

Damn I wish we got Tennis Channel in Canada. They are doing a 2 hour documentary on July 1st on the legendary 2008 Wimbledon final between Nadal and Federer. If you haven't read the book called Genius Strokes I highly suggest reading it such great insight into the greatest tennis match of all time.

Shapo is the lone Canadian remaining in the men's draw as Peter Polansky loses in four sets to PHH.

Ya I believe rain delayed the start of the match, as well as during the 3rd set and after the 4th set. Was a pretty crazy finish, at the end they were playing basically in the dark.

Alex Zverev in a battle with Dusan Lajovic - Match is currently tied at 1 set apiece with Lajovic up a break in set 3. Also, Zverev is down a racquet.

Zverev might win a major eventually, he might win 10 majors eventually. But it's pretty embarrassing for a guy with four 1000 tournament wins to have ZERO wins over top 50 opponents at majors, which looks like it's gonna continue until Wimbledon. He needs to work out his mental block at majors, Denis is already the much better performer at majors.

Lajovic and Zverev going to a 5th and deciding set.
Edit: Looks like Zverev found that extra gear, took the 4th set 6-1 and is up 3-0 in set 5.

Jared Donaldson and #4 seed Grigor Dimitrov are in a 5th set battle (currently tied 5-5). Also, Zverev ended up advancing over Lajovic taking the 5th set 6-2.
Edit: Dimitrov survives winning the 5th set 10-8

Yeah I've said it before, Zverev might get there but as of now the hype is not justified. Considering the cushy high seeding he has had at majors for the last year or so it makes it even more terrible that he is barely beating some of the journeymen on tour early in these events right now.

Thiem took the opening set 6-2, Tsitsipas claims set 2 by an identical 6-2 score. Third set has just started.

Interesting assessment of Denis and what has been behind his improved play this season.
