Hjalmarsson was going to be my next Dman.
You don't really have much offense coming from your backend so far.

I have to agree. But Myers has potential to be a 50+ point D-man. He can run and gun on the PP and can log up minuets. There was a reason why i took him early. Because i thought he would be gone before my next pick came up

You're good back there. One more puck mover and you're Golden.

It's pretty rattling to see how much less cap space I have than everyone else.
PS Hockey, when you get the chance can you switch Z. Michalek with OEL. Thanks

Kind of surprised how Penner fell this far in the draft. Sure he struggled in LA, but I think he can gel in with the Kings this year, and should fit well with someone like Mike Richards.
I'm glad he was available for New Jersey's pick, thanks for making my pick PlayfulGenius!

Thought Brewer was the best defenseman available. I now have my top 6 forwards and my top 4 Dmen and my goalie

Hey Cheerio, I'm curious if you think you would have taken Greene had I not taken him.
I wanted Greene and Brewer with my 2 picks and had a hunch I'd have to take Greene first
Oh well, I'll have to do a little research now.

I probably would have gone with Brewer over Greene, but if Brewer was gone I was going to pick between Greene and another guy I had my eye on

Sooo glad that i got two players i really wanted. Surprised Stoll was still available. Yeah i know it wastes more cap space but you need great depth down the middle to be a great team and i have that. Now to get some cheap and serviceable NHL'ers to fill out the rest of my team.

Oh well, I really like Demers as well, at least he's cheaper than Brewer.
