Dem decision makers should all be canned for allowing this. Unless Trump says or does something heinous, he wins easy.

Biden is absolutely cooked. How anyone could believe he has all his marbles is beyond me.

Trump is definitely not going to win this debate on merit or by doing anything remarkable but he has Biden beat easily. What a sad state of affairs in the Presidential race.

If the debates were about quality of content Biden would win easily. He’s far and away a smarter and more sane person than Trump with better ideas. But they’re not. Debates are about confidence. And Biden has none, he looks weak and feeble. Trump is a mentally ill dictator but he’s confident while doing it.

That was a pretty damn clever (but bull#### of course) answer on Jan 6 - portraying it as the point where the country went to #### for other reasons.
Some heinous Republican staffer should feel very proud for coming up with that.

Well all that Trump has said is probably at minimum untruth, and more generally outright lies.
And seems, easily the more qualified.
Joe has been much better now that he has slowed down some.
It's sad, actually.

Next debate Biden needs at least three rails before getting out there, can't go any worse.

I don't think it's a meh at all. I think Biden is shedding votes. A ton of people will stay home instead of voting if this is how he's going to perform in the other debates.

No one. I doubt this debate will move the needle at all, especially when they're still 4 months out from the election.

No they won't. Both sides are not changing their minds because of any of these debates. Biden isn't shedding votes at all.

The saddest thing is I think Joe is actually still thinking well enough and has the experience/expertise to make a lot of great decisions, but he can't get it out of his mouth coherently/quickly. He'd be a great consigliere for another President.

Trump is such a charlatan. And I can't believe how many people will - hold on, are - falling for it. Dude is completely lying on everything and saying nothing of value... nothing. I hope people aren't stupid enough to believe this tripe, but I don't hold much hope there.

I'm not saying that they'll change their vote. I'm saying democrats are not being fired up to vote for Biden, so they'll stay home (if the election was tomorrow). Not all, but some. This debate is a not providing any motivation to democratic voters. This whole debate has worked 100% in favour of Republicans.
