Work with a few Dutch fans, and really looking forward to tomorrow's game!
Loved reading this story from The Sun tabloid from London, specifically how they beamed the England flag onto the Eiffel Tower and the Arc de Triumphe the night before England played France:
Yes, you are right. The players do look more comfortable.
I'm currently over here in the Ukraine and was at the match in Donetsk yesterday, strange tournament this in Ukraine. The locals barely understand English and at the match there was quite a bit of Russia fans since Donetsk is so far east. Throughout the match there were chanting for Russia. I can echo the comments about the refs. I thought there were 3 or 4 good legitimate free kicks denied, including what I think was Stevie G being taken down in the box.
Regarding the heat, it is very hot here. It was only a bit more comfortable in the 2nd half after the sun had completely left the stadium. Great match though. I thought France were going to pull out a winner before the final whistle.
Next match is tomorrow in Lviv, Denmark Vs Portugal. I'm a Dane through my moms side, so I'm hoping for a win from them. Everybody over here is shocked by their upset of the Netherlands, that's the talk of the tournament thus far, well maybe now the Ukraine win over Sweden will be the top story.
