In other news, its not clear if Chelsea have fired Ancelotti or if he left of his own accord, but hes no longer in charge at Stamford Bridge.

If they fired him then they're complete idiots. Fatty Frank, Terry and Drogba are going to run that team into the ground and I'm going to enjoy watching it.

Blackpool get the Europa League spot. That is two relegated teams plus Stoke representing the EPL along with Spurs.

Channel 5 are gonna have their worst ratings ever.

Well that was a pretty crazy season finished off with a crazy day of fixtures. Sucks to see Blackpool go down but they gave er hell til the end. Lots of ups and downs over the year for Sunderland, more downs than ups lately, but today had a great feeling to it with SAFC finishing in the top half and above newcastle, especially since they blew a 3-0 lead at half haha. Should be an interesting summer, and now I can't wait for the Gold Cup to start to get my Canada soccer fix!

I didn't watch the entire celebration at OT after the game today, turned it off after Van der Saar got a deserved standing ovation...

did Webby get to make a speech? did he get the loudest ovation?

I thought old 'arry was really animated in this clip. Referring to complaining Spurs fans that ring phone-in shows as "idiots" made me laugh. Quality stuff.

"What kind of an idiot picks up a phone to ring a phone-in?"

Asked about the link with Chelsea, Redknapp told Sky Sports News: "Well I have got a great job at Tottenham, things are going well for me.

"I have had a couple of great years it couldn't have gone better for me there.

"I haven't heard anything from Chelsea that's for sure, no one has ever mentioned Chelsea to me.

"It's not the first I have heard of it, someone said to me today your name got mentioned on TV, well I said I've never heard nothing at all so it's all news to me."
aka come and get me

United have signed their replacement for VDS

http://www.skysports.com/story/0,195...949648,00.html

supposed to be the heir apparent to Casillas in a few years for Spain, and an excellent keeper

getting pounded now

Quote:
Harry Redknapp is odds-on in places to become the next Chelsea manager following sustained support for him on Thursday to replace Carlo Ancelotti in the Stamford Bridge hotseat.
The Tottenham boss is as short as 4-7 with Coral and also odds-on with Paddy Power, while Hills and Ladbrokes are going evens for a sensational move across London.
Alex Donohue of Ladbrokes said: “The Redknapp gamble is showing no sign of stopping. Punters are backing him for thejob at all rates and if he gets the gig we’re in trouble.”
Guus Hiddink is out to 4-1 with Marco van Basten now 7-1 with Coral and Andre Villas-Boas (8-1) is the only other manager available at single-figure odds. (Racing Post)

No thanks.

Hopefully if Harry leaves Rafa is not the replacement.

he's not the worst choice, but ideally Ancelotti just moves from the west to the north of london

Jurgen or MJ coming back would be good as well

Hopefully it is too soon for Gus Poyet to be lured into the bright lights of the EPL. The Albion will need to hold on to him for a while longer. There are some connections that remain between Gus and Spurs but I hope that he is still too green even for the ambitions of a mid-sized EPL club.

he was involved in the mess that was Juande Ramos, don't think he would be on any list of Spurs to come back
