Okay you're down by 3. Can't change that. So what will you do?

Need a lot of shots, a lot of traffic, a lot of intensity from the big guns. Throwing Talbot back in would be a smart idea as well.

The game isn't over. Let's see what this team can do for 20 minutes with the season on the line. I think I know the answer, but let's see them prove me wrong.

Exactly. Gio is going to want a chance to redeem himself.

There should be no GM to fire him.

I’ll take it. A 200 foot center and a pick and I’m happy. He has to go.

Shots are 27-17 Flames. The team has been fine.

Epic goaltending collapse.

Ward has zero pulse on the team - Putting BSD in net with a Flames team reeling isn't the right call. You don't pull the only player keeping you alive in the series.

Seems like Bowness figured out that a timeout can regroup your players without yanking the goalie.

As the anger and disappointment from today's game and another failure of a season fades, I hope that fans, media and eventually management realize this is Brad trelivings team. He's been here for half a decade. This is the best he could do. This is the strongest set of forwards he could put together (he inherited monahan, gaudreau, backlund, ferland mind u).

This is the best goaltending he could put together in his tenure here.

Can we get off the 'hardworking gm' bullsh*t'.

The only thing that this gm has brought to Calgary is the stink of 'flames almost got....' Garbage we used to ridicule the oilers about. He's an AGM. He's created a mediocre nhl team, a below mediocre prospect pool, mediocre coaching decisions.

Let's bring some accountability to the suffering. The architect of this failure should be open to judgement, and at this stage, the ridicule that comes with that.

Dallas has 5 high danger chances (1.03 expected goals)

Dallas plays the best defence in the league. We're gonna need a miracle.

This team is sooooo hard to cheer for when you just know they can't find the compete level for a full 60. Only difference today was they played the first instead of the third
Who was it on here that said in traditional Flames fashion they give us hope and then take it all away?

I think he said we'd win this game and be terrible Game 7. Just got the timing wrong. Took that hope away within 10min.

Ward’s decision backfired in a big way, and he will lose his job over it, but I understood it at the time. Talbot’s second goal was on him, and he just didn’t look great. Rittich is supposed to be ready, layoff or not - that’s why he’s there. And he was supposedly starting goalie caliber.

This team just doesn’t have enough big guys with speed. That’s todays NHL. The only guys up front with real wheels are Dube, Reider and Mangiapane. Johnny and Monahan play old fashioned hockey where you need way more time and space.

Treliving should be canned. He built this team. He is the one who couldn't find a coach. This is all on him. He needs to go, and I mean boxes should be waiting for him in his office tomorrow morning. Coaching staff goes with him.

Dallas is 15-3 in this situation (ending the series in game 6). Calgary is 0-9.
It'll soon by 16-3 and 0-10.

Your prediction wasn't a huge stretch.
