Wow what a throw, he totally heaved that thing a good 70 yards. Add that to the height it was thrown with as well. Unreal ending.

Because what the hell are the two guys doing just hanging out at the 40 yard line?

But there were no eligible receivers in front of them. Everyone was in the end zone. Rodgers isn't running 60 yards, there was no time left. Just awful awareness by those guys.

Has to be the most incredible last play TD since Favre to Lewis... Brady to Thompkins against the Saints was pretty incredible as well in terms of a most unexpected win.

edit- actually, the most similar one to this has to be the fail mary.

GB basically had 3 guys boxing out. How do you let that many receivers in front of you.

You don't want to give them 40 free yards if it comes to laterals. But really, they should be standing at about the 15, not the 40.

It was like the defence thought he needed to trow it 75 yards instead of 65. How do you have 6 defenders that deep in the end zone when the ball had to go that far? No one should have been deeper than 1-2 yards into the end zone.

Looking at that again, there are 5 players from each team in the end zone. Normally, you see 7-8 defense versus the 5 eligible receivers for the offence. Detroit has more players near the line of scrimmage than they have in the end zone.

Why rush 4? They aren't likely to beat 5 guys to get to the QB anyway. Rush 3, have another guy to tackle QB if he takes of, and have 7 in the end zone, or just put 8 in the end zone.

Was running around all night, totally forgot about the game. Just checked the box score this morning and saw the final play as "61yd TD pass @ 0:00 of 4th Q". Now I'm really mad I forgot about the game..

What a terrible defensive call by Detroit. It was their base defense personnel....morons.

How close was Rodgers to the line of scrimmage?

All teams are too conservative when trying to kill the clock - running the ball in to a wall of defenders three times in a row. High percentage short passes should shred the run stoppers.

Line of scrimmage was the 39 and the ball was thrown from the 34-35 yard line. He got a good run and launched it almost 70 yards. As was mentioned earlier, it was a perfect throw.

Jamarcus Russel could have made that throw sitting on a toilet...he also would have had his 300 pound ass on the turf on that play too. Rogers did have to do a bit of escaping to get his run for the toss.
