Pretty quick. Teams just announce the picks from their draft tables. No going up to the stage, getting a jersey, snapping a photo, TSN interview etc.

By my math there's about a 5% chance that a defeseman would be the BPA for our next six picks.

Hoping that we only draft defensemen from here on out means that you're hoping that quality forwards (like Barbashev, who is the BPA right now) don't fall to us, or that they do but we don't take them.

Right now, I'm hoping for a forward with our next pick, but if he's gone, then I'm hoping for a defenseman, and if he's gone, maybe a goalie, and if he's gone, a defeseman again.

good. Increases the chances of McKeown being there at 34 ... pretty sure Florida will go forward here (Lemieux or Barbashev). Demko would make sense in Buffalo ... no idea what the Oil are doing.
