This is such garbage. He's one of the best defenceman in yhe game. I would love to have him on the Flames even with all his faults.

I'd still have him on my team. He will get better as he matures and he's dynamite on the powerplay. He's not perfect but he's a good talent that could be great if he can round out his game and play more like a guy that's been there before.

Vanek hasn't done himself any favours for a big UFA payday. He's probably going to get the biggest offers from non-playoff or bubble teams as he hasn't done enough in the playoffs to prove that he's worth the commitment from a contending team.

Hopefully the Bruins can close this out in Montreal and send those fans home with their tails between their legs.

Subban made a great point about the water spraying incident. He said if that was him spraying water it would be news for 3 days. And he's absolutely right.

Yeah, you're right. Norris winning defenseman are the last thing this team needs!

Subban may have won the Norris, but he doesn't have the same demeanour as someone like Butler. Butler may not win awards, score a lot of goals or make any big hits but at least he isn't on team Canada or anything...

Subban is amazing and would be the flames best defensemen in a long time.

A good point, and I don't know if he was insinuating some kind of racial double standard. But I feel like crazy media attention would happen if it was any star player doing it, like if P. Kane did it to Crosby or something.

Agitator doing classless agitator things...not that it should be looked over but unfortunately it is, many get away with classless act that many star players wouldn't be able to get away with.

Haven't been keeping with the series but doesn't it seem like Vanek is playing through an injury?

He doesn't have the same explosive nature which made him a star. I agree with you, I think he's nursing something.

Of course he is right. But it doesn't matter who did it, it will be in the news for 3 days anyway.

Thornton probably should have been suspended for a game if only because he interfered with the play from the bench while the play was still happening.

The difference is people find it funny right now. If it was Subban words like "classless" and "immature" would be flying around without a doubt.

The guy can't even shoot the puck without getting ridiculed as witnessed in this thread.

I would take Subban on the Flames in a second. Great shot, teammates seem to love him.

You mean the same types of words being thrown around with respect to Thornton?

Why don't you just come out and state what you are thinking rather than hinting at the victim card?

I'm sure Brian Burke and Jim Treliving feel the same way that you do and would pass on any opportunity to bring PK to the Flames. Thank God the Flames didn't draft him; he would have been a terrible fit. Backlund was a much better selection.

What a joke of a post. PK would instantly become the most popular player on the Flames by a wide margin and rightfully so.
